I don’t expect this movie to scare me. The only vampire story that’s ever truly scared me both in print and on screen is Stephen King’s “Salem’s Lot.” I guess what I’m really expecting from this is the character development involved in a story about evil’s origin and motivation to corrupt innocence. And what people go through when facing this evil and how it changes them for better or worse, depending on who they are. It’s a nice plus if I get scared, but I won’t be disappointed if I’m not. I’m pretty sure it will still be interesting. Looking forward to it!

The entire part leading up to the castle and inside the castle is incredibly scary. It’s scary in somewhat the same way the Witch is scary… just an overall feeling of dread.
@@jturner2577 bruh why😂😂
I cant deal with scary movies at all. This movie was so damn creepy and the jumps got me way too good. As of now the most horrifying movie ive watched yet
Omg this looks epic!
Just saw it... And it WAS!
its not
saw it yesterday realy liked the movie 98/100 masterpiece all actors everything photografy camera direction realy a good movie
Awesome, caught it last night. An absolute MUST SEE in the theatre, if you're a big movie fan (um, optimally with just a hit or two of weed, i gotta say). :-)
Nosferatu movie is amazing 🤩🤩🤩
I understood Orlok brought the pest with him🖤💀was so on spot with all the deaths and filth around story's development. Best movie in a while
I've got my fingers crossed🤞if they ever decided to release a directors cut that they'll CGI that mustache of his face like how they did Superman.
I just recently saw the newest film adaptation of Salem's Lot...and it was incredibly cheesy and at times even laughable. Seemed as if it was written with PG-13 in mind.
@@mimamoI must say in defence of this comment, having read Salems Lot , it is still far superior than any adaptation I have seen of it including the latest. This book still remains one of my favourite vampire novels and one of Steven Kings scariest books.
This scene... I have no words
This is my favorite scene
Just watch Herzog's version.
One of the best movies ive seen!
Some idiot in the comments said this isn't Dracula... it's literally the same thing just a different name because of copyright drama 🤦♂️
I didn’t think that was Orlok til we got inside! 🤣
I thought he’s got a mustache, that can’t be a vampire.
Why can’t a vampire have a mustache?
I loved Orlok's design. He looks just like a Romanian count in the late middle ages would look, love it love it love it
Look for a picture of Vlad Tepes - who is supposed to be the origin of Dracula.
@@simonriley4131 Yes, but historicity isn't good for horror in a of itself. It humanizes Nosferatu way too much and makes him look like a porn star. It's just not a good idea for 2024/5.
@cuauhtez myself and a lot of others disagree. It's too bad that it didn't work for you, but I can't find a single person in real life that holds to the belief that he looks like a pornstar, probably because moustaches are much more common where I come from
Un film impressionnant, hypnotique
Bro gotta do a save before entering that gate
I really hope they extend the whole castle scene with Thomas in the extended cut This by far best part of the movie for me
I loved it because the rather stuck to real effects mostly and it had that reality feel to it, thats just so creepy and uncomfortable!
Best Christmas Day evening entertainment. I waited so many months to see it.
I can't wait until this comes out in theaters tomorrow. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1:49 There would be a ton of chimney smoke in real life
1:26 - That girl is a dead ringer for Isabelle Adjani in Herzog's 1979 take.
She based a lot of her performance in this film on Isabelle Adjani in “Possession”.
It's a beautifully made movie, I just wish it didn't have so many scenes similar to bram stoker's dracula
From Renfield to Hutter (Harker).
I started playing bloodborne after this movie
Right up there with Xmas classics like Jingle All The Way
Welcome to Cainhurst Castle...
freaking epic amazing
No one will be able to "top" F.F. Copolla's Dracula for a very long time. Everything in the 1991 movie is unsurpassed: the cast, the sets, and the wonderful music.... That was not just a "scarecrow" from the next director, but a great work and a movie with a certain meaning.
Are you serious?
Great movie sure, but great cast? Really?
Apparently, this Lord was some punk magician who may deal with the devil and now lives as a undead husk, devil is probably happy when he died he’s like” finally Orlock I’ve been waiting for you for some time you’ve been collecting many bodies, you’re just made your time after life a whole lot worse for yourself. Don’t worry, I’ll give you the same treatment you gave your victims.”
I got chills
this movie is AMAZING
I wish the editing was on par with the cinematography with this dude.
It's by far the coldest and raw take on Dracula. Really creepy and disturbing.
Nosferatu is just the bald version of dracula 😂
Best horror film in history imo
I've been waiting on this for fucking YEARS!!!!!!!!!! AND NOW I FINALLY HAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
brilliant film
I think I will go to see it again, in the near-empty theatre.
Exelllent!!!!!
