How to Cut/Delete a Selection of a Layer in Procreate

Quick and terrible tutorial that is literally unlike anything else on this channel, but I'm posting it because it seems to be a common question that no one can easily find the answer to!

For anyone having troubles with three-fingers swipe, like me, you need to turn it on. It’s under Settings (spanner icon on top left) > Gesture controls > Copy & paste

Make a selection, then do the 3 finger layer clear gesture. Instead of deleting layer, whatever selected will be deleted.

Did you figure it out? If it’s not working, it could be in the settings that you have to turn on.

The other way to do it, you need to choose Remove option on Selection Tool, and after you finish it, just click on Copy and Paste, it will copy and paste everything else but what you select it.
It doesn't make sense at all for me, but that's how it works haha
