Deadpool and Wolverine was a blast! You made some excellent points. I think the MCU needs to focus on quality over quantity. I think it’s a good thing the MCU finally learned it’s lesson and diaed it back this year but I think they need to continue to do this not just for this year but for the immediate future. They should release maximum 1-2 tv shows and/or 1-2 movies a year. They can even go a year or two without releasing a movie. Give the public a break, built anticipation and start building up fresh, new characters and great stories/plots. ❤❤❤❤
@@ScreenStaticStudios Part of why Horizon and Rebel Moon flopped (also because they sucked.) Stop introducing everything as "Part One " and just focus on making one good movie. If it's good, and you truly have an interesting idea for a sequel, then discuss a sequel. If the sequels are consistently high quality, THEN maybe discuss spinoffs/universe-building. Franchises have to be earned, can't just force feed them to the audience and expect that to work.
I didn't realize that Thunderbolts was the next movie and it really strange to think about it. Two similar (humans, military related) superhero movies in less than few months. If Fantastic Four were in the middle it should be different but, damn....
Right, Fantastic Four would break things up a bit. I'm thinking Brave New World is going to help set up Thunderbolts, either as a B plot in the movie or the post credits scene.
it actually isnt the first time a mantle has switched in the MCU. Blank Panther 2 did it perfectly with Shuri taking over after the passing of her brother. The problem with this movie is that they might not feel the need to adress the switch as heavily because of how much of a focus it was in falcon and the winter soldier which general movie goers who see this movie might not have watched thus confusing them and putting them off. I really do hope it does well though it looks very good from what we've seen.
Two points that you are missing. 1. February is Black History Month, that maybe why they chose to release a black man as Captain America and 2. We just saw a transfer of a hero persona to a new person in Black Panther, so this will not be the first time that it's happening in a Marvel movie.
@wdorsey213 1. Black History Month may be a reason for the release date, but I dont think "Black captain america" during Black History month is going to connect like they might want it to. 2. You are right about Wakanda Forever. But that wasn't a result of the story people had been following up to that point. It was for real world reasons, so it's literally the exception. But you are right that they have at least seen it done before.
Marvel like Disney is lost with woke feminist 💩. I stopped watching marvel movies, unless it's legacy ones with good review. Steve Roger is still Cap in our hearts, cannot be replaced. Bring him back and you will see another hit, alternate universe or just what he did after he left in the end game. No woke BS anf it's going to be a hit

Looks like a step back to a more serious tone so I'm excited 🤷🏽♂️
@@HOOD3DKXNG87 I can't wait.
Few people feel obligated to support marvel by going to the cinema anymore. Films need to be events rather than instalments.

You don’t need to be worried about movies… I worry about actual issues in the world…
It's possible to hold more than one thought at a time.
It looks cool based on the trailer.

@pjg406 you're right, it was done first in Wakanda Forever. But since it was due to real world events I think the audience might see it as exception.
Sam isnt Cap. Hes Falcon.
@@BradleySherlock-n4x Sam is Sam. That his name. The superhero title of both Falcon and Captain American has been held by more than one person.
i think if they tease a green hulk ( not smart hulk actual angry hulk ) vs red hulk, that might be what it takes to ensure the movie does well
Teasing the Hulk worked for Thor Ragnarok so you might be right.
Main reason im worried is because it was made by the same people who made falcon and the winter soldier and I didn't like that movie
