Small home studios with limited space and tight budgets must be creative. This often forces many to seek alternative methods to take their guitar tone to the next level. With this, the FX2000 could be an economical solution for those looking to try something different. I hope this presentation serves useful for those interested.
I've owned one for 10 years. Absolutely love it with guitar. But the Fx chain is complicated. I copied and laminated every page from the manual for quick reference.
dig the vid man, I like your friendly to everyone style making the video and it's clear you put a ton of effort into it, it's nice to see! Good subject matter I like the Virtualizer line, I sold mine but that was a mistake I'm going to collect up a few at least so I can get a properly flexible insert chain for a couple synths, it's the perfect creative FX unit.
I've used mine for 10 years. If you only use the guitar presets you are not making the most of it. Modulation, chorus, delay, pitch shift, etc, really make it sing.
positive vibe cool t shirt bro, this video has a kinda 90's vibe for some reason not in a bad way hehe the slow zooms in and out .. you still have a pair of those alesis 1 I had those, my first speakers!
Nice video and enjoyable presentation! I don't think you showed the dry loop for reference, so just out of curiosity, are the three versions of the tube effect meant to just give a tube-like clipping effect with no EQ, or do they also change the EQ?
In this unit the EQ is a separate parameter setting for the 3 tube distortion types. You can set the high, mid, and low EQ on each tube type independently. With this, how the tube type sound affects the EQ is totally up to you.
FX2000 produces those effects very well in my opinion, and in stereo if you need it. For the price point, I’m still surprised by this unit. Thanks for watching and sharing. 👍🏿
I do not. I use it the unit to process my guitar tracks after they have been recorded. Others may do it the way you requested, and it works well for them. My setup is different. Thanks for watching.
@@manuelevangelista660 I hear you. 😊 I put your request on the list for a future video. I have a number of requests prior to it, but I will do it as soon as I get the chance. Stay tuned and thanks for watching, sharing and for your support. 👍🏿
hi there..is it possible to connect output of a mixer to the input of fx2000, then output of fx2000 to the input of a crossover or to the equalizer..thanks
It’s possible but I wouldn’t recommend it. I would suggest connecting it to and using it with your mixer’s effects sends, and routing the outputs of your mixer to your crossover. Thanks for watching.
Yes you can. I used the stock settings in the video but you can modify the effect parameters to get heavier or lighter distortion. Thanks for watching. 👍🏿
No but there is a few channels with 2 effects for thus combined . Chorus/delay . Compressor/limiter . Phaser/delay and quite a few others . Its not the best for live cos cant switch it without hands but . The reverbs and effects r outstanding . Absolutely amazing for vocals and studio mixing. Also it has some handy dynamic and psycho acoustic chanels and effects for all sorts . . Great for vocals and can be used easy for singing live
I can hear the effects but when i try to export the effects on my audio i dont hear the effects. It Sound like my daw not exporting the effects from my hardware how do i fix this?
My suggestion is to check you audio interface connections and your DAW manual to ensure you have everything you need to have configured correctly. Without knowing your setup, it's virtually impossible to know for sure what the issue is. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for that, good review. Now for a keyboards review, but I guess it will be similar ;)

@@PowercoatMusic i just put a comment about this
Hi. You use this with e.g. FCB1010 straight into your amp (Marshall dsl40cr) ?

Alright! I like the shirt!
Cool Brother.
Thanks so much for watching. 👍🏿
You bet. Your help on the tascam DPS24 has been invaluable.
SD version, unfortunately. I was hoping for the burner, but oh well. Still a great machine.

@@PowercoatMusic Is it on the maximum parameter that time?
@@gabrieldelacruz4278 No it was not. Lots room there to work with. Again I used the factory presets.
@@PowercoatMusic also is there a wag for that? Like if I'm gonna use a wah wah pedal
@@gabrieldelacruz4278 You can just plug the pedal into the chain.
What about combining effects? I like to use chorus’s and delay with different distortions. Is it possible to combine effects on this machine?

How come I don’t hear nothing when I’m on TUBE ?
You may want to check to see if that is stereo or mono effect. Either way, try using the left/mono output. Thanks for watching. 👍🏿
