The rail gun is actually the single greatest thing in this mod Sir. The Unit you get in a battle are basically spotters, while the actual shell comes from off-map, and it's huge ^^

Its the supreme leader! In order to defend yourself, do you put Lego right next to your door so if anyone bursts in their feet are annihilated.
I am Dutch, and when i was 12 i fell asleep on top of my lego once because i was jet lagged.

I find that the combat works quite well, if you turn down the actual unit sizes to squad size in the WW1 mod launcher.
It's really impressive how tight of competition you and this "ISP" guy keep. You guys keep a consistent stream of content almost daily.

Well, here’s the thing - it’s not good.
Total different tactics. Wont work. At that time infantry tactics from the 19th century where still used.

Little known fact, but the only reason the Netherlands were not attacked during WW1 was that Germany knew that with the war against Britain and France, they would risk being blockaded. So to keep one commercial route alive, and keep the goods coming, they remained neutral with the Netherlands.

I used to beta test this mod, there is a update to this that will fix alot of things, but the team now consists of maybe a 3rd of what it once was (think like 1-2 dudes now) so its been in development hell for about 5 years. It's still making progress though and new units, weapons, and equipment have been added.
Why no gas attack? that's like the most unethical way to win!
matheusGMN Gas is good but Shotguns are the most unethical. The Germans declared it a war crime.

After a most dire and prolonged engagement we had managed to kill them somehow, and we had buried them deep underground for extra measure. Our supply lines are under constant attack and I fear that this message may not reach you my darling, but should it I would love to hear how our little Alexander is growing into the fine young lad I'm sure he is.

The field gun is supposed to be a forward artillery post and radios in the enemy location. They can spawn outside the deployment zone and their artillery round is a great meme if used.

For a dutchie i take offence to the hiding part, we werent hiding, we were just a buch of cheapskates and had a paper army and were even to cheap to get a picture of the fake soldiers.

So knives don't become invisible, but what about their clothes? Do we have invisible naked Belgian knife tankers trying to attack the Greek army? They should probably not eat spoiled waffles anymore, their failing nuclear energy sector is starting to have a strange effect.
ISP, the reason why the turns are taking so long is the amount of armies. They have to move every single individual army and each one is just a single unit. It's a bug that the ottomans used to have in Empire Total War that somehow carried over to the Germans and Austrians in this mod.
Hopefully the new version in development fixes this though!

Even though europe claims ww1 was awful, yet they still made a sequel.
The main issue with the mod is that it takes 100 turns to get to things that should have been available on turn one.
High tier eco buildings cripple your ability to produce military units and for some reason iron mines cost 15000 gold to build but give you less gold than the tier 1 storage building.
Balance is nice

Only thing the mod is missing is Georgia, as russian empire falls and bolsheviks rise, Georgian republic gets born, and it quickly becomes European superpower, that's true of course, Georgia had 5-6 armoured trains and french and British military planes in there arsenal too, which was big thing at that time, sad that they didn't add this
