- This week we take you through some of the cool Evolve Skateboard custom hacks we have seen out in the community.
A custom hack is any little tweak to your Evolve electric skateboard and mainly concerns aesthetics and basic functionality from fenders, mud guards and bumpers to cool LED setups.

These are some great hacks. I love customization. I love love love the Evolve GTX all terrain board because it makes me want to live and it is saving my life! I grew up skateboarding downhill in San Francisco. My whole life I dreamed of an invention like the Evolve skateboards and your company has made those dreams a reality. I was diagnosed 1.5 years ago with stage 4 vocal chord cancer. This has been really hard and left me completely unable to speak and very depressed. I decided I had to bring the most joyful thing I could think of into my life as therapy, and that is skateboarding in nature. My friend has been loaning me his evolve board (I have not been able to afford one yet due to massive medical expenses I am struggling to pay). This board has brought so much fun and adventure back into my life that I feel it healing me every time I ride. I can feel it strengthening my body spirit. It fills my life with joy and childlike freedom. I feel that riding your boards is a key component in saving my life! Bless you for creating these most awesome of boards. You are helping humanity into a more positive future of fun and non toxic transport. I thank you for all your company is doing and I pray one day to own my own Evolve GTX all terrain skateboard. Dreams do come true!

This is by far my favourite evolve weekly video, not only does it show how massive the community is but also how individual each board can be. I love all the different customisations and idea's people around the world have, this is exactly why id love to win the limited edition custom Carbon GT AT... id still add a few bits to it to really make it special though.

Hello Evolve Skateboards, This episode about custom hacks done to the evolve boards really draws my attention, I have always been the type of person to do it my self and learn how inventions of the world work. With this remarkable video it showcases all the extraordinary ideas that people in the evolve community have. This video shows how evolve boards are not just another electric skateboard but are part of people lives and connect to the people that own them. Being a typical 16 year old boy I have gotten a job and, I started to save up for one. Right when I saw my first Evolve Board I was hooked to it. Thank you for pushing the limitations of electric skateboarding and keep up the great work.

@@evolveSkateboards would you ever consider using tesla batteries and maybe just a wild idea but a modified riser on the rear of the deck to cover and to accommodate 2 rear trucks giving it more grip and power ?
Large garbage bag and tape. Problem solved.
Even if they made a splash guard for the motors.. Like a perspex cover that still let's air flow get to the motors, but minimise the risk

Sick ....... I'm about 8 months away from buying my first board . Funds r pretty tight...I'm saving a bit from each paycheck and I haven't been this excited since my son was born lol hahaha iv hun longboarding fir years and was so into skating all through school.. my longboard is my transportation to and from work so I think I'm ready . This is my favourite Evolve weekly video as it gets me all excited thinking about riding one and what I could do to customize my own board.The first time I saw one of these Evolve boards was in Mangawhai New Zealand cruising around the Surf beach car park and I had to stop and ask the guy what it was. Ever since then I’ve been thinking about getting a board so I can ride it to work. How cool would that be.

Recently purchased a Stoke. Absolutely love the thing but can't help thinking to myself that she'd look and handle better with a front wheel drive setup.

Those in the industry need to make an effort to work with some businesses to get more places to be allowed to ride these things.
Here in FL, can't ride on street, or sidewalk... Mostly only on private property. There's a few places, like the beach (up to 20 mph), which could be fun on beaches with hard sand - most are soft.
One thought is golf courses. End of day, wait 2 hours after last tee off, then open up for electric skateboards. They catch up to the group, then they turn around and go back to first hole, when they get there, turn around and head back through the full 18 this time.

I would like a reverse kingpin truck option. I want to go fast with rock-solid stability.
Any on AT mudguards to reduce the dry cleaning bills every time from dirt on jeans even when not riding in rain or mud? Is Evolve going to provide mudguards for the AT?
Water damage... yeah that's why they make CorrosionX I use it on everything electronic I own from RCs and drones to TV remote and battery connections in my truck!

Hi, what is the difference between the GT and the GTX, and I would like to know how I can get the same speed as the GTX because I would like to buy a carbon one
Can i add a wing on the rear?
Been through 5 remote controls, 1 battery, 2 motors, 6 hubs, and 2 remote issue wreaks bloody and broken bones, that's all fine but now I cant get any more remotes they have been sold out for over a year. There's are very expensive to maintain.

Dear all, I love my Hadean board. I usually go for long rides out there. For that matter a fully mounted and inflated spare tyre plus the Evolve Y-tool is good thing for the backpack. However sometimes I would like not to take my backpack with me. Does anybody know about a hack to fixate/store a spare tyre plus y tool on the deck itself, maybe in the middle? (Preferable w/or cable ties)

for 320$ you can allready get an electric skateboard. It wont be as powerful, and it wont have the range, but its still fun.

Yes the Wowgo 2s is a good choice. But you need to know that right now there are no electric skateboards that work perfectly all the time. Not even the Evolve boards. Make sure you find a dealer in your Country/State. So when something is wrong with the board you can send it in easily.

Hi, I've seen video's where ppl are waterproofing their evolve boards with silicone. A lot of countries, including UK and NL have a lot of rainy days. So I was wondering why you guys do not waterproof it? Or am I misstaken and are the majority of the video's overkill? I just bought a bamboo gtx and was wondering if I need to do some waterproofing as well.
Hoping that there is an evolve brand here in the philippines.😊

Is it possible to order a replacement GTR series II board (deck only - bamboo) - with no grip tape, so I can do my own, without having to remove it?

I like the boards, but this whole community thing reminds me of certain car brands. You can't just buy a Subaru and enjoy it, you absolutely need to sign up for 10 forums, facebook groups, chat to other Subaru owners each time you see one and go to a meeting at least once a month.

I personally would hold off until Evolve gets this waterproofing shit figured out. The costs for this item just can’t be justified in anyway without waterproofing the board.

yep i make off road mountain boards i sell for £700 and they do over 30mph and the range is dependant on how much u spend but the basic one is 2 miles up to 20 miles for an extra £200@@ChimeraProd
