Smart G, he's managing his energies while Pogacar is going all out from Day 1 already.
lol Geraint is 3 levels beneath Pogacar these days. He will be minutes back on TP by the middle of the Giro. Geraint is basically out here in the final 2 years of his career picking up a big cheque for his family, don't fault him but the days of him contending for the big trophies is over.
Stages 3-6 are sprinter's stages that's why it's better to get the lead right away on stage 1-2 since you dont have to control the ff stages after. Stage 2 we will see who is in great condition in gc aside from pogi.

everyone is racing for 2nd unless Pogi crashes or abandons due to illness or something.
He just doesn’t think it is worth the effort to chase Pog today. Of course he needs to watch other GC guys unless they ran a slip.

Im just being honest... Why all the platform on the social media asking if anyone can match pogacar...? If i am the cyclist it is a big insult to me.. Coz its like u say already in my face that we cannot win against him.. Pls stop this kind of interview... Be fair to other cyclist
Yeah, even Pogacar pointed out that it is total bullshit what the media is trying to potray, it put much more pressure on him and belittle all the other riders.
