- Paramount Pictures showed off the first footage from Ridley Scott’s upcoming film Gladiator II at CinemaCon 2024, and this movie looks awesomely epic!
There is a lot to unpack about the footage we saw including the story and the stunning visuals. - Розваги
If you know anything about sir ridley Scott you know the man really knows how to film epic battle scenes , kingdom of heaven, gladiator, black hawk down napoleon, the last duel exodus gods and kings ,super excited for this film
Thank you for the review 🙏
Can you confirm that Joseph Quinn will play Caracalla (main emperor)? Cause now he’s addressed as Geta …
The timeline is based off the 2 co-emperors brothers Caracalla and Geta. They both try to take other out in assassins attempts and I remember reading about this. Caracalla guard kills Geta and he becomes the solo emperor. Lucius gets framed for Geta murder and that’s how he ends up in the arena.
When do you think can exit the trailer?
Hope Gladiator part II Will be good
I guess ”bigger with great fight scenes” is ok but what I really want to know if the STORY is at the level of the first film. The first Gladiator film worked so well because it had well made battle and fight scenes WITHIN a well-told and written story.
Where is the real trailer?
Everyone is saying it is bigger and more scaled up. I hope they mean in story and richness and acting and sound and music. If it is just a Bruckheimer fest I will be disappointed.
It's not a sequel. It's SEKKUPU. The original Gladiator was a very realistic. This new episode is seems to be a fantasy genre. Fascinating doesn't mean a wonderful movie, don't be wrong. How does Paramount let us believe in this story, that's the question. And many of us think that's impossible. Russell Crow was very specific: "I'm death in this world. I'm six feet under..."Vusual effects, sharks... Who cares!
So don't watch it
"bigger"??? OK, but what about a good story? ("Napoléon was epic but had nothing to offer)
The battle on water and the animals are CGI?
yeah that part did not sell me at all, if anything it put me off. Consider me HIGHLY skeptical about this move. More and bigger, does not equate better at all. The first Gladiator movie was carried by the story and the characters, the battles are not the essence of that movie. And another thing that buggs me is that Lucius from the first movie was cast as a fair skinned white boy with semi blonde/lightbrown hair, how does he grow up to be Pedro? A pretty dark haired, hispanic looking person? I mean I love Pedo as an actor but its continuation details like those that make or break a movie's realism for me.
Paul Mescal is playing Lucius, not Pedro Pascal.
No they hired real sharks lol
@@jimmyfingers227 On the original they hired real lions ;)
but they weren't really on set or at least not with actors, they were shot against blue screen half of the time so to answer your question yes they will be CGI and compositing is not really a thing anymore.
The tism is strong in these two
These "reaction" videos are the clog in the toilet that is UA-cam. I don't care what someone's reaction is. Stop making these videos. If you can't post the footage, which is all anyone wants, then say nothing. Because I'm not even going to watch this.
Cool, I like reaction video's tho. So how about you just go watch something else instead of whining and dictating what other people should do or should not do?
"which is all anyone wants"
No, that is all you want, not everyone else.
@@Typecast-L as he responds with whining and crying....I'm not sure what is thicker here, the irony or your skull. Cope harder, ma'am.
That is simply your opinion and doesn't represent the majority. The fact is many, many people enjoy watching reaction videos, they enjoy hearing the opinions of others. Also, you don't seem very bright in that you could not conclude that they didn't show the footage because IT HASN'T BEEN RELEASED PUBLICLY and therefore they are not allowed to show it.
Yet, you’re still here, and commenting.
@@waykool698 And I will keep commenting because it evokes a response from woke little butterflies like you.
