Hey team! Three quick updates:
1. Firstly, I have updated the ReVanced link to the GitHub Repo, as some commentors have mentioned that this is the best way to ensure the app doesn't get taken down by Google (similar to what happened to the original Vanced application). You will need to find a tutorial explaining how to build the app yourself from the GitHub Repo, or feel free to search for and download your own APK build (at your own risk).
2. I have updated the Snippet link, apologies for that error!
3. For anyone struggling to get the Ambient Music Mod working, try enabling the "Use Alternative Encoding" toggle under the Advanced Settings menu. This has fixed it for me on any phone where it hasn't worked originally.

Thank you for updating the link, I'll point this out though.
Downloading/uploading these APKs (instead of building them yourself) will not make Revanced be in danger of being taken down by Google or something like that. Revanced team only provides patches and the patcher, they don't distribute any of Google's o intellectual property.
Instead it's about how dangerous is to install an app made from an open source project, where you will Input your Google account. Anything could be injected into an app like that. Also it's about realizing that the revanced team doesn't provide any APKs, they made the patches and the patcher, they heavily discourage the distribution and use of these pre-built APKs to avoid users having problems (bugs, stolen accounts).
@@Imagine_Breaker Well a prebuilld APK is still against UA-cams/Googles ToS because you are redistributing their intellectual property that was modified, which is the UA-cam App. This is the exact same thing that happened to the original UA-cam Vanced, which let to them getting shutdown by Google.
Recent update exactly you have to find it just like all your apps you have to dig through a ton of crap to get to him dude why don't you just make it simple and give a direct connection to the download button other otherwise your stuff is just a waste of time none of your links take you directly to an app download button you know like on Google Play they have a button it's called install your rating is an F oh great information you put out well put together but try to get the stuff you put out that's a whole nother story
@@uwu_peter as I said. UA-cam vanced DID distribute modified UA-cam APKS, which is the reason they got taken down, ReVanced IS NOT distributing any UA-cam APKs
The APKs you see on the web were not made by the ReVanced Team, they are built by users, if you build the APK YOU broke Google's/UA-cam ToS, not the Revanced team which they only created a patch/patcher and never gave you any UA-cam APK. (Which is why they won't just give you an APK.)
I've been using UA-cam Vanced for years. But a couple of months back, it was discontinued due to legal issues. Then I moved on to UA-cam ReVanced and am still using it. There's virtually no difference in the experience. No ads, background play, floating mini-player, horizontal gestures for volume and brightness... Fantastic app. A huge thanks to the developers.
I'm still using the original Vanced from long before it was taken down. Is it worth changing to ReVanced, or should I just stick to the old one?
@@ca_lcium Old one had some issues for me like "no connection" errors so i switched to revanced and no problems so far!

Ever since it got discontinued, I moved to youtube pro by sam mods. Purely bc revanced was harder for non-tech savvy like me to set up.. has anyone compared these 2 apps?
I love these type of videos. Makes me realize that people actually do want to use their devices and customize to a next level.

"For some unknown reason it's been removed" it's because the concept of these apps are not inline with the policies of the Google play store. Mostly due to copyright issues, just like Torrenting is an issue in the EU.
Torrent is just a way to download, shouldnt be an issue unless your downloading something bad

@@Sickularspidey Both apps are good, but in musify you can download local audio files but vimusic is more simple to use like UA-cam music.

@@NiroshMadhusanka-nft It is absolutely safe since it uses MicroG which Vanced used as well. It's opensource.
Has anyone found a version of Samsung's Separate App Sound feature? It lets you play one app over Bluetooth and the rest through your phone speaker. I don't have a Samsung anymore and that's the biggest thing I miss.

Thank you for the amazing video, Sam. I just have one question about the Universal Android Debloater. Does it actually remove or delete the apps from the phone or just disable them? I'm asking because I noticed that they're available to be restored at any point, which sounds like they're just "hidden" or disabled instead of being deleted.

ReVanced team never shared a single APK to the public, you have to build it by yourself. Remove the link of the "ReVanced APK".
