I received foot peeling 'socks' in a subscription box a few weeks ago. They are only a couple of dollars and my feet peeled like crazy, it really worked well.
@@ellaandersen8542 I also tried the TonyMoly one, and it did literally nothing. I had bought 2, so I emptied the second one and just used my regular The Ordinary Alpha Lipoic Acid, really slathering it onto dry feet, and then using the empty TonyMoly mask booties to prevent the treatment from escaping. I'm VERY used to using ALA on my body and face, so I left them on overnight, because I know I don't react badly to it, and it's not too harsh, for me. Not necessarily a good idea, unless your skin is VERY accustomed to acid peels. Unlike a lot of foot masks, the ALA never fully absorbs or dries down, as it's an oil. So instead of getting peeling for like 1-2 weeks after, the dead skin will start to mix into the acid, and form a kind of disgusting sludge. After rinsing while massaging well with your fingertips for around 10 minutes, you will lose the majority of the dead skin. You won't keep peeling layers and layers for weeks, because you gently massage it off, all at once. After that time, I tried it again a couple months later, but used plastic wrap instead of the empty booties. It worked just as well, and was even less slippery, when covered with socks. A 1 oz bottle of the ALA is around $6 CAD, and I buy a bunch at a time, because it's the best chemical exfoliant ever - for my skin, at least. If anyone is interested in trying this, maybe don't fully wrap and leave it on for hours, as it's one of the harshest (but most effective) acid peels on the market. I'd recommend first testing for allergies, as you regularly would. If you have no reaction to it, then try applying a very thin layer to your soles before going to bed, and wearing an old pair of breathable socks. If you still have no negative reaction or sensitivity, you can try applying and wrapping your feet for a couple hours (not overnight), at least a week or so, later. Always build up, over time, when working with new acids. Never ever start at the highest exposure time or the highest frequency between exposures. 😭 You can literally give yourself chemical burns, so please be careful. I knew I would be okay, because I had been using the ALA on my face, overnight, twice per week, for at least 6 months prior. I experienced no sensitivity, in that time.
Hello, Secretary Clinton. This is your cousin, Cranberry. Here's what I have to say about this: I believe that, really, there's more people watching this because they want to eat that strip of skin at the end. Sincerely, Your cousin Cranberry
kyra williams omg I didn’t know who you were talking about, then went back to watching the video lol she literally blinked once my dry eyes could never
I tried it once and really wish I had the money to do it semi regularly. I have what many people have refered to as "slave feet" 🙄 they are very ashy dirt magnets and get thick callouses VERY easily that tend to crack at the heels. Something that helps is going to a spa or getting pedicures done regularly (once every 1-2 weeks) most places scrape or shave off various callouses or skin build up while also moisturizing. It doesn't solve everything but it helps.
I have a question about the results of skin peeling. Do the feet become more sensitive after having it peeled? I love walking barefoot. Each summer, I start walking on ruff surfaces (ciment, asphalt) to build up as much calluses as possible. The idea is to be able to walk on most surfaces while staying comfortable. To me, the ability to walk barefoot on hot asphalt is liberating. When the girl said she wanted to walk barefoot or with open shoes I instantly though "Wont the skin peel prevent her from walking barefoot because of the discomfort caused from not having calluses?", "Wont she get tons of blisters from not having any protection?" I would like to get input from people who get peelings and pedicures about how it changes their foot's sensitivity.
"For me, shoes are what complete my every outfit." Lol for me it's just a bit of lippy, eyeliner and some pink socks. But people get mad at me for that cause I'm a guy.

Tbh it’s easy to smooth the dead skin at the soles of the feet with a foot file. My issue is hyperpigmentation on the knuckles of my toes. They look weird to me otherwise I think my feet look perfect.
I thought having callouses and hard skin on your feet would actually protect them from pain when wearing heels? I'd pamper them afterwards, but not before wearing heels. Idk. Am I wrong on this?
i broke my femur in a car accident in december and couldn't put any weight on my leg or walk for 11 weeks so i have so much built up dead skin on my foot... i need one of these so so so so bad... maybe even two
They sell these plastic foot-peeling slipper things at Ulta, one a very expensive brand and also an inexpensive one, which I bought, and it worked wonders (for awhile.) Definitely peeled like crazy but no pain. Check it out.
i always think about doing baby foot for the DRAMA of the peel but I need those calluses to get across hot, rough roads in the summer, and so on my feet they shall stay :))

What type of hand treatments are there. Say an elevated manicure/facial for the hands.

This was NOT necessary! My podiatrist recommended that I soak my feet in Epsom Salts and warm water for 15 minutes to get the dryness off. It worked!
