    😂 *The more I watch you use that tool, the more your channel name "parmesan palms" is cracking me up. You exude positivity and though I don't have foot callouses, your soothing voice almost has me rushing to Amazon! You could sell ice to an eskimo. 😅👍 Thanks for sharing this, and if I ever do get callouses now I know what to do!* 🙏😊

      Pray you don’t and take the shoes you wear on your feet very seriously get insoles of you have foot pain or pinching from standing too long/ applying pressure to troubled spots can make IPK callouses essentially a corn that’s rooted deep and calloused over, extremely painful , hurts to stand on, hurts to shave it, hurts after you take the weight off of it feels like a sharp burning stabbing sensation

    • @hxrle.y_8522
      @hxrle.y_8522 2 місяці тому +1

      You can get ipk’s from just keratin build up on the feet which is the most common way of getting corn’s

      Just remember once you have pain in your foot from something like this there’s no amount of precautions and heed you could take to reduce the pain in your foot complete removal is the only way to find relief

    I would just let my podiatrist deal with this. I would be too chicken to take too much skin off an make myself bleed or something. Glad this works for you!

    • @heyheyyouyouidontlike
      @heyheyyouyouidontlike 7 місяців тому +8

      It's doesn't hurt to scrape. There are no nerves in calluses so you can't feel it exactly. You only feel pressure. Once you actually start to feel it on your skin then you should stop. To cut yourself to bleed means you would have to be hurting yourself intentionally. It would be hard to accidentally go deep enough to bleed b

    I prefer doing it while it is wet by using a rock that does not have a smooth surface. It will not hurt your foot and will leave your food nice and smooth.
    I'm sure you'd love the outcome.

    Have you tried kerasol for the cracks? I also want to highly highly highly highly recommend Blue Cross cuticle remover. I'm not familiar with the condition but if you put a little bit of that and a little bit of warm water you can even add vinegar you're going to get off 20 times as much at least for me!

    Girlllll! Whaaaaa? Omg! Okay so this is a condition, I just realized that. That sucks, that must get frustrating. I hate when my feet get even the tiniest bit scratchy. I've heard of this before, I think. Maybe not this exactly, but I do know I've heard of keratin issues where it causes thickened skin.

    The dead skin will keep growing back. Good to exfoliate but need to take care of the skin under the dry layers.
    It is best to apply vaseline generously at night and wear socks. Several nights. Will soften the dead skin and moisturize the healthy skin beneath it.

    This can make your calluses worse. Calluses are your body's protection against trauma. So constantly grating at your skin could be causing your body to react by building calluses. Kind of like an oyster making a pearl to protect it against the irritation of a grain of sand.
