      I have horrible cracks in my feet and it gets super dry too that's why I clicked on the video. If you want a miracle worker, there's this brand called O'Keeffe's that makes a pomade/cream called "for healthy feet" and the before photo was pretty gnarly so I decided to give it a try and put it on my feet every night. After 2 weeks my feet were like new. I started crying and everything. Then I stopped using it as often and my feet have gotten dry again but I no longer have the hugeee cracks I used to have and I use it every once in a while. I seriously recommend you find it. 😶

      Soaking your feet in water and using a pumice stone would be of similar benefit without a whole week of feeling gross.

      Bethany Lade, you are wrong. I *do* soak my feet and use a chiropody stone, but this takes ALL the dead skin on your feet away, including cuticles. It is amazing.

    Am I the only one who would want this for my face. I’m sure the skin on your face is too sensitive but imagine how nice it would be to just have your face peel for a week and have this beautiful re surfaced face

      shin hyo seob I’ve totally seen some but the ones I’ve seen that actually make your face peel seem to take off a really thin layer of skin. Compared the this which seems to take off a thicker layer

    • @Kelseyguurl
      @Kelseyguurl 6 років тому +67

      lillian girvin the skin on for feet is thicker that's why. The skin on your face wouldn't peel off like your feet due to that reason.

      Try Drops of Youth from The Body Shop. You use two pumps of the gel on your face and it scrubs the dead skin off of your face. Also try the serum that goes with it. Feels so good. I use it once a week.

    I tried a foot peel about a week ago. I am still trying to recover. Huge chunks did peel off, but not my whole foot. It looks hideous.! I have been soaking them in Epson salts, vinegar and aspirin (salicylic acid) for and hour at a time. Using brushes, scrubs, etc. And alternating salicylic acid and retinol lotions.
    I ordered a facial scrub with pineapple enzymes to try to eat the dead skin off. I plan on leaving it on for 5-10 minutes.
    This has turned into such a project! All because I noticed dead skin between my toes when I dried them.

    I did this and it's great! I do barn work, so my feet were horrendously calloused and EXTREMELY dry. Nothing worked to help soften them up until I did the baby feet. The peeling looks exactly like this (I hated when my tops were happening, embarrassing to wear sandals). However, I did pick at the skin, it was a nice distraction to do

    While using this peeling socks it's really important to read ingridients. Those which have salicylic acid or glycolic acid can be dangerous,because theese type of acids are too harsh even for dry and dead areas on your feet. It really can burn your feet (though dead skin would peel off,it can cause some pain). Please use socks with lactic acid,it is natural acid wich contains in our body,so it's less harmful and wont irritate your skin. It takes about 7 days for the whole peeling process,but it's worth it.

      Salycilic acids and glycolic acids are used in many quality skincare products. You can’t call them “too harsh” when that depends on the concentration. Everything is essentially natural, that’s a moot point. Of course sensitive skin might have an adverse reaction, that’s pre-warned and shouldn’t be generalised.

    • @juliablagova7817
      @juliablagova7817 6 років тому +5

      Gill S It's just how these acids work in such products as peeling socks. The concentration is high and it literally burns and irritates the dead skin off the feet,while lactic acid softens that parts which cause peeling. I did a resurch where i learned how that types of an acids work and affect on skin.
