To get the seals over the sharp ridge/lip, i always wrap some teflon tape around the ridge. Put a little fork oil on, and the seal goes over the ridge without damage. Good video👍
Very nice, I'm just looking at doing my partners z900 fork seals as they're both a bit sad 😥 if you don't mind me asking how much is it for the z900 fork seal replacement? I've never replaced seals before so I'd prefer someone who knows better to do them!

Thank you! Cheers!
Clean and careful job. Excellent content and very well explained.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great work, thank you for the detailed video.
Perfect! What bike do you ride Steve?
I have a couple in the shed. Maybe I should do a video on them 🤔
@@themobilemotorbikemechanic 100% makes sense.. sure I’m not the only one who’d like to see them?
Hi, both bushing can last for how long? no need to change it?

It should take around 3hrs to do the job but you will definitely need the spring compressor to do the left fork leg.
lolz Z900 looks like an alien predator
So is it that the left fork has different way of demping than the right fork? Or should they demp the same way?
Correct the left and right forks are different
👍
😃
Shame you didn't film filling the fork legs with oil and bleeding the damping tubes.
We can’t film everything 😞
Absolute novice but even I understood that
Glad you liked it
