The Lord definitely has changed my view on marriage and I’m learning that it is truly a ministry bcuz it is utilized to promote and build up the kingdom of God
I really glad that people are being more honest about what marriage is! I am excited to meet my man of God and serve him & grow in God with him. But Ik the Lord is still working on me 😭.. He’s like “You can wait.” 😂
Ewwww weee!! Y’all, I just got another revelation! We can also apply this to “Ohhh I want a baby! I want a family!” Being a mother or father is a ‘ministry’ and it requires a lot (a lot) of giving/serving unto another human life day in and day out whether you want to or not (feel like it or not) and let’s not forget the ‘baby shower’ phase when everyone is all “awww look at the belly! Awww congrats 🎊🎈🎉!” is over and after you have the baby (s) and when reality truly sets in after year 1, 2 & 3. Let’s talk about this too! Not everyone should do a thing just because you can do a thing especially if you are not “equipped” prior to but so many folks want to apply the “if God called you to it, then he’ll bring you through it” but many will take their children and spouses “through” so many ‘unnecessary’ hardships and traumas that they didn’t need to if they would have only waited a little while longer and been better equipped and prepared’ for what was up ahead. 🚫⚠️⛔️✝️
Marriage its not about making you happy it's about making you Holy. You have to be selfless, humble, submissive and if you not willing to that then don't get married

I got hurt and I didn’t care, but God and I had this agreement that my views on marriage are only going to change when I find my husband. My current bf is the first time I ever considered being somebody’s wife and we both want God at the center of it. I know I got my sign
I get how it's a complaint against women. But are men really changing and adapting the way women are likely to humble in a marriage or are we still selling this talk of he'll come around later on
No, no marriage is a CONTRACT there's nothing romantic about this, we create all these corny ideas by brides magazines etc. What guarantees my comfort and yours ? How are we going to handle our finances? Who works when and for how long ? Are we saving together for retirement? Or individually? How much debt are we taking jointly in a year, budgeting etc. No. Is not all romantic. If you enter not using your brain , reality is gonna take you out of it broke$
