    yes Jordyn's execution score was questionable on her Floor exercise, however there are very big deductions that Aliya didn't receive on her Floor also

    I like the commentators , they aren't all positive and actually point out mistakes instead of the BBC who seem to think everything is ok

    Because the US hosts the event they are allowed to enter any senior gymnast and also have someone compete in exhibition. It is certified by the FIG obviously since this is two years later and still a World Cup event.

    I think it's just a focus issue. I think the guys have better controll of their focus during meets. Sometimes I can't watch my teammates because it distracts me from my routine.

    I'm a little confused...did the rules for qualifying for the American Cup change? Otherwise how was Jordyn a part of it when she was 13?

    I just watched this for the 1st time after watching World in Tokyo to see Wieber and Mustafina go head to head and Wieber edging out like she will in World with Komova. Mustafina is dangerous looking. Can't wait for London. A funny scene with Alicia Sacramone at 35:00.

    They had to include Jordyn because if they didn't then Aly would be the only American at the "American" Cup-Rebecca didn't come, Jiang didn't come so Jordyn really was the only one left.

  • @titangymnast27

    why does Alexandrov say that Jordyn isn't old enough...you turn senior the year you turn 16 not the day...since when is the american cup the top 8 from the last years worlds? in 2012 there were 3 first year seniors, actually the only girls at worlds were Jordyn, Aly and Lisa Hill(who placed in the 40's)

  • @sransomdancer

    Isn't it funny how when an American does a switch ring it's so amazingly difficult in the commentators eyes, yet if someone from another country falls on it, it's just "silly?"

  • @roderickhenry7502
    @roderickhenry7502 11 років тому

    jordyns beam was so great here , but i believe she shouldve stayed with this routine! it was a 6.0 here, but she added a bhs at worlds made it 6.2, and if she were to add a johnson 1/2 thats a 6.3 and then a full turn after the turn with leg at H makes it a 6.4

    There are rarely gymnasts who can put on a happy face when they are about to compete, because they are so scared they are going to mess up.

    Mustafina looks a bit stiff after her beam, like she hurt herself on her dismount.

  • @MrJpman2
    @MrJpman2 11 років тому

    Jordyn was a lot better on vault, beam, and floor. There 3 out of the 4 events, she's the winner. Mustafina's also lucky she didn't more gigantic deductions on her floor because her 3 and 1/2 twists wasn't completed and her hands hit the floor before her feet on that fall which the judges didn't deduct for, she should have possibly gotten 2 points deducted from her dscore

    Vault scores were right, and floor was somewhat reasonable. On bars Wieber was overscored by a good half tenth and Mustafina underscored by several tenths. The scores show if Wieber didnt fall she would have the same execution score on bars as Mustafina which is a joke. Every aspect of her bars (both difficulty and execution) is shit compared to Mustafina, even apart from any mistakes she might make. Beam scoring was also ridiculous. Wieber clearly did not deserve the meet.
