I have grown up listening to Luke for workouts/training, & been subbed since 2011 - 8 years, 5 different gyms, & 4 cities. His music & creativity has gotten me through a lot over the years - It’s crazy to see how far he’s come, in addition how tight & composed his playing has gotten, as time progressed. Super proud, dude. Keep it up.
Dang, it seems like every time I discover a new band, it turns out that you're playing drums for them. No wonder the drums on this album sound so good!
MadMarco The musicians you see on stage are the touring band. I have read that the singer Dustin actually hires other musicians to record the albums. I am not sure why exactly, but Dustin once said that Starset is more a „musical laboratory“ than a band. So I assume there is the musical creation process and then the performing part, which both are based on different musicians.
If you look into the credits in the album booklet, you see that also guitar and bass are not played by Ron and Brock, who are part of the touring band.
No joke this was on my Spotify curated list 11 days ago and loved the song cause of the drums and added it to my favorites. And then I discover you tracked them today.
Love the shake and quake on the screen when the cymbals are blasted. Great job Luke. U make drumming fun and you explain in a way that a 5year old &90year old could comprehend. You seem very humble which is almost as nowadays..keep up the positivity
Idk what it is what it is about this video, but I can just tell how much better you are even though you were already amazing. Everything seems extra effortless. The production as well. You're killin' it dude!
@@fattony2216 Luke did do drums on the album, he has an album credit. I would assume Adam is just the live drummer, just because someone plays an instrument in the band doesnt mean they wrote or recorded the parts. This is pretty common in bands actually
His snare is so crisp, everything is but man do I love a crisp snare! Absolutely amazing, I get so much joy watching these videos and finding new music because of them 🙌🏻 thank you brother
When I heard this song on Octane for the first time... 3:15-3:45 I was like "damn that sounds like something Luke would play" Guess I was right!! Fu***** awesome man!
I'd looooove to see you do a playthrough for Where The Skies End :) that's my personal favorite song off the album, but, killing it as always dude, I had no idea you did the drums for the album, what a pleasant surprise :D No wonder the drums were so poppin'
Every track you play always has incredible technical techniques! If this isn't some of the best drumming, what is? Love the energy & concentration it take's to play through any song's! 🙏❤
Man, you killed it. Even though i was expecting more Luke style. I mean, if i heard this song the first time, i wouldnot have thought about luke, i would have thought just about a solid drummer.
Never heard this band before until I heard Manifest on SiriusXM Octane station. It's easily become one of my favorite songs. A good friend of mine who is also a drummer told me that you recorded the drums for this album so I had to come look you up. Awesome job, man! Love it. Watching drummers do their thing is like watching a magic trick.
I love how the drums 9n top the mix actually make the song even better. I actually just got two albums from this band just because of this cover. I had never heard of them before. they're really good! I enjoy them a lot! thanks Luke!
I heard this song on Octane the other day, and I said to myself... damn that is some bad ass drumming. Of course it was you Luke! Glad I've been following you since before you could legally even drive a car. Keep jammin brother, it's so awesome to see you succeed in the music industry.
You Are My favourite drummer. So cool and so skiled. Love your confidence behind the Kit, stick tricks, ghost notes and awesome simple, YET powerful linear fills!!!
Excellent how simple it is at some points of the song but there are little additions that make the parts absolutely perfect. I love it and I hope you get a lot more sessions booked for you to record on peoples albums.
It's a forward rotational spin. Anybody can see that but realizing how much harder it is then flipping a stick the regular way. Give it a try not playing the drums. Takes a lot more concentration.
I did drums for STARSET’s new album ‘DIVISIONS’, this is their first single ‘Manifest’! Don’t forget to subscribe 👆 thanks everyone!
You cool man!) Thanks!
Keep up the great work, Luke! Been a subscriber since 2015!
🤘🎭🤘
Awesomee 👏 👏 👏 🤘

How do u get the music on your phone ? I mean without youtube premium

The drums were incredible before though too. Credit where credit is due!
My Demons is the song I found them on back in 2014-2015 I wanna say. Check that one out.
Does anyone know why he does the drums for Starset? They have a really great drummer ^^

I was listening to the new album and i was like “man they’ve really stepped up their drums.” Now I know why 😂 they got Luke Holland. This is so dope
I was the same way haha! Not that the drums before were bad, but I personally really like what Luke has added to it!
Literally what I just said when I found out. That album was leaps and bounds heavier than they have ever done
they didn't though this is a drum cover
No, Luke Holland did drums for DIVISIONS, check the credits on the album.
Adam ain’t too bad himself…😉
My Favourite song atm and my favourite drummer. Is this heaven?
Bro welcome to heaven
He laid the drums on the album i think
@@jackmould3506 Indeed he did
I love it when bands ask Luke to Drum for them!! It’s amazing that his talents are respected to many. Awesome video Luke!!
I love this version and I love how Luke doesn't go insane on the fills or anything, he just grooves and even though it may be simple it hits you hard.
Luke, your ghost notes are always on fleek, goodness me.

Man, the drums are awesome. Keeping the rhythm AND doing stick tricks?!?!? That's another level. Officially my fave song right now.
This never gets old , 4 years later snd it still bucks 🔥🥁

No idea you did drums on the album, super cool. This song is sick.
He didn't. This is just a cover. Adam Gilbert is Starset's drummer and he is an absolute monster!!!

Those ghost notes on that hi hat…unreal. Dude is way too skilled
This is soooooo SICKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Going to have my 4 year old start watching your videos since he loves Starset and is into drums.
Camera work looking insane dude, doesnt distract from the playing, perfect compliment to some great drumming.
When I heard this song on Octane for the first time... 3:15-3:45 I was like "damn that sounds like something Luke would play"
Guess I was right!! Fu***** awesome man!
One of the best drummers I've seen and he's only in his 20s.
Makes it look easy.
bought a ticket at Starset gig. Thank you, Luke for this band!
Love my Columbus brothers in Starset, and love watching you play. The combination is incredible!

The edition is sick as much as the drumming.
What a masterpiece of musical composition. Beautifully done. Thomas Lang has taught you well.
I keep coming back for that snare, dear god that thing is phat!!!
It is indeed
Oh shit, didn’t realize Luke was doing drums for this album. Crazy to see a band I’ve shared the stage with many times doing so well. Rad!
The way this song ends might be like my favorite ever
I love this song since its out and i was just waiting for a drum playthrough xD
Every day i work to be as 1/4 good as you...... but i try @ 53 ... Just started last year. Cannot get enough of your drumming. 🥁🥁🥁

This album had that special spark, and now I know why. Great job Luke! Are you also going to tour the album?

That snare with this room is godlike
I really noticed a difference in the drumming on the new record, didn't know it was you, but it makes sense. Love what you added to the record!
Wow dude, you have some SERIOUS drumming skills, awesome! 😎🔥 Nice that you did the drums for Starset's DIVISIONS album! Keep it up!
Yeahhhh🔥🔥🔥🔥😎
That stick trick @4:00 where he catches the stick the very last moment....just epic 👍🏻👏😉
It's a forward rotational spin. Anybody can see that but realizing how much harder it is then flipping a stick the regular way. Give it a try not playing the drums. Takes a lot more concentration.
Yeahhhh!!!! Come back to the old style I LOVE IT, you are the best Luke!!!
Phenomenal! Video work is amazing as well as quality of both videography and the drums of-course. Keep it up man!

I would love to see you breakdown Telekinetic. The entire album is amazing but I LOVE LOVE the stuff you did on Telekinetic.
HOLY CRAP
EASILY THE BEST STARSET DRUM COVER I’VE EVER HEARD 🔥🔥🔥
He actually tracked the drums for Starset’s album. He drummed for their album.
Seth Bachara Yeah, I’d read that. He’s phenomenal.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR STARSET
Luke, what clothing line is that!? Dude that’s a SICK get up!
+1. We need to know.
The brand is called Aape a clothing line under a brand named bape

Matt got picked up by the Chainsmokers and you by Starset, another huge band. Congrats man!
He's not in the band, he just tracked the drums
@@therestingmitchface6241 My point is he's working with them. You could argue both, he is in the band or he's not by that logic.
Always super impressed.
This was SPOT on to the original. Literally perfect.
lol he did the original
Oliver Haines what I mean is he stayed true to all the drum licks from the original song and original drum track..

Absolutely love this
Never change your drum kit that's the best drum kit in the whole universe

Wow! Perfect.
On point brother, you sold the album for me. Curiously, the starset CD I have makes no mention of Luke Holland on drums.. which is a crime.
Luke scores another win! 👍
You're fucking brilliant man, DIVISIONS is a goddamn masterpiece. Great job!
Absolutely love this drum kit.
Btw: This is my favorite bridge from the album! It's so epic!
Was just on spotify listening to this to learn the drums for it and then I head to youtube and see this.

There is almost no song that wouldn't sound better with luke on drums.
The real GOAT. ❤🔥✨
