- 2/10 Miami, Florida, Blonde Redhead played their final show on Tool's 2022 tour, and Maynard James Keenan (who handpicked them for the tour) and the rest of Tool sent them off in style - with an epic prank involving massive blonde wigs. Perfect, of course. This video was originally shared as an Instagram story by Blonde Redhead's Kazu Makino; the story was later shared by Maynard.

Went to see Tool in Houston last week and opening acts are always hit or miss, but these guys are pretty good. Kind of weird EMO music but it was cool.

Well, with a name of like "Blonde Redhead" which sounds like the most obvious indie name for a band, what can you expect.
Blonde Redhead has been aroind for years and are pretty well known in their own right. Just a bit odd seeing them paired up with Tool, as an opening act.
Blonde Redhead is a great band, with a few noteworthy albums. Seeing them opening for TOOL would've been a treat ! 😍
