Amy, I recently came across your channel. You are an amazing person. Thank you for being so brave and showing us that nothing is too hard to over come. Thank you for living your life to the fullest and not letting anything get you down or stop you. I'm looking forward to watching you. Thank you.
Tom was clearly a fan of Brainiac way back when! I got to go and see the live show, but it was after Richard Hammond had left, still brilliant and I have my Brainiac hat 😊
I totally know what you mean by watching some other chronic illness channels but I love watching yours because you make it more inspiring and it makes me feel not so alone, to be honest you inspire me in my chronic illness vlogs. Your content means a lot and you are such an inspiration to me ❤️❤️❤️
I told my grandma about u amy and my grandma was like i don't know how she does that!! Btw amy u are amazing and u stay strong thought all of this but i don't know how u do it love u!!!! :3
@4:10 Hahahah I laughed so so hard at Tom's "Things that make you go hmmm.."! I had to rewind and rewatch it like 3 times because it was so funny. I love his new segment of the daily vlogs and look forward to seeing these in the future videos!
Hope this one is the ticket for you and no issues in the future!! I think the last I messaged you, I was going in for my 8th surgery. They repaired a hernia using mesh. Well, that was all well and good, but I noticed 3 days later I have another on right near my last hernia. I’m so so upset about it!! I’m like you...so over surgeries! How to you keep your head up when facing surgery after surgery? Love ya xoxo
Lots of people swim with PEGJs with no issues. It’s a personal choice, but definitely not considered dangerous unless in some really awful waters. Looking so much better, go girl!
Have you ever had ketamine? Sometimes they use it instead of regular anaesthetic if you have had a few anaesthetics close together as another induction agent (I know it is more used in the USA so that would make sense)- and apparently that makes waking up really hard. That's what I've heard- so don't take my word 100% I'm not a medical professional lol but just a thought!
Hi Amy, I can understand that watching other UA-camrs in similar circumstances might be overwhelming at times. If you're looking for a channel that will never leave you feeling negative, and if you like baby goats, then I recommend Weed 'em and Reap. I never get tired of them, and when my health sucks, they definitely make me feel better.
Totally understand how you need a break from chronic illness stuff since you live it and vlog it yourself every day. Sometimes you need to think about totally unrelated stuff-I like watching art, crochet, science and space stuff on UA-cam. Was happy to see you feeling better by the end of this vlog. 😊
Rewatching all your vids is hard, but I want to help out your family any way I can. If any viewers see this, please do the same. watch her ads and all that💔 Rip sweetheart
Glad you’ve finally gotten your button!!! If you are looking for an entertaining vlogger with cute kids I’d recommend JesssFam. Been subscribed to her for over four years and she never disappoints. Loved the makeup in the last shot. You certainly looked like you felt better!!! Oh and how’s the Christmas shopping? I’ve managed to get all presents wrapped already!
I’m still watching your vlog..but have to say, I’ve never seen a name band put on someone’s ankle! Have they always done this there? Different from country to country I sapose.
Why did you and all of your family end up in Australia? I thought you were English and lived in England 😂 I must have missed something 😊 Love the vlogs 👍🏻
O cool thank u for responding. I watched a video of yours the one about POTS and I have it to it's been rly hard for me but I can't imagine what u have been through. U r so strong and when I'm haveing a rough time going in and out of ers and ambulances and I just think about how strong u r it just makes me happy and to no that if you can do it I can. I hope this makes sense and I would love to talk more about POTS in the future!
@@stephanieamphlett1344 Here (UK) Hosps put buttons in for people who are likely to pull at the tubing, ie, ppl who have had strokes...ppl who do not know why its there and whose family are the ones usually who have given consent for it to happen...therefore a button device is less graspable. I would have thought the same applied to a young person who wouldn't want it 'on show' and would much prefer a less obtrusive one. Just seems like a wasted procedure for them and her if they only go an replace it with a button anyway weeks later. Surely buttons are not THAT expensive they wait to see if the PEG/J is working before replacing it? o.O
The initial placement of a surgical feeding tube can cause some swelling, and a dangler is adjustable. It's also hard to guess at how long the button needs to be if you've never had a tube before. If its too long, it'll leak more, if it's too short, it'll be more painful. So it's better to have a dangler placed initially so it can be externally adjusted without irritating the stoma so much, then once it's fully healed (I think they consider it fully healed at 3 months) they can measure the length you need and make sure you get the right size button.

It wasn't necessarily the AMERICAN anesthesiologist's fault for you having a sore throat.
