I am 70 y.o. What a walk down memory lane. I built a Little Indian mini-bike from scratch with this 5 hp Briggs & Straton when I was 13 y.o. Brand new Briggs which I 'heavily modified'....ported and polished, bigger carb, milled head, governor removed...would do about 45 mph. We as childhood friends who all ended up going to Engineering school used to race our minibikes and run from the cops. A different era. So lucky.

Hey when you were testing the compression and it said 60 psi that's how it's supposed to be from the factory. It's got a compression release you would have to spin the engine over with a drill to get the true compression number. Also should replace that clutch before buying anything else.

That mini bike is a 1970 ramjet it would have had 4hp Tecumseh engine on it there's another model too that's called a trailjet but I'm very positive that it's a ramjet 1970 and I'm 💯 percent positive cool little bike I actually own but mine was blue

We also do small powered equipment repair here. Seen some pretty crazy custom farmer builds. Got a 5 h.p like that one in the shop, fresh build, still only bout 90psi. Fires right off, new carb on it too. Guy wants a tote goat made out of an 88 kdx 200 frame. Got the chain drive clutch for it, etc. Gonna be an interesting, rainy day project.

Hi Joe - well something new on the channel. At first I thought you were going to roast a bike you hated, but no, instead we went into ‘Joe cooks Venison’… and boy it looked really good, and complete with chewing sounds! But no Vinnie - I bet you were in trouble when you got home & he could smell what you’d been doing.

I've seen these mini bikes before with a Harley Davidson sticker on them. I think Mustie1 did a video on one of these. My understanding is that they were sold at retailers like Pamida and Shopko in the 70s and came new with the Harley sticker on them.
