I have learned so so much the last 3 months watching your videos. Dude, it’s been an amazing learning and watching them. You’re awesome. You’ve helped me tremendously when I built my top end on my Honda rancher 350. It runs amazing now, and I have to give you the credit from all your help watching. Thanks Brotherman.

@@manuela.hernandezcordero2658Them little China quads are actually pretty good. Other than the chain falling off constantly, I had a neighbor who abused the crap out of his and it still kept going. It still ran after he submerged it in mud, and flipped it 5 times in a row. They are slow, but fun. Perfect for people who know how to work on their toys, and don’t want to spend a whole lot of money fixing it. They make semi automatic and manual ones too, if you want to go faster. The automatic ones uses just one gear, and it’s equivalent to 3rd gear. Not too slow, but not fast either.

I really enjoyed this video. My childhood friend's grandfather had two Honda ATC's, one a 185, and the other, this 200 you have here. My friend and I both had XR80'S, and his grandfather would take us down to the train tracks in our small town, and we would ride the dirt bikes, and ATC's for miles down the tracks. The good old days.

Don't mean to be critacal, just helpful. You almost always turn Cresent wrench, channel locks, and vice grips in wrong direction. they are desighned to tighten the girp when presure is applied, when turned in tie correct direction. 🙂

Next time you need to pull a carb from a 200 Honda here is a tip... Remove the two M6 bolts that hold the rubber isolator to the head, 8mm wrench, loosen the intake hose clamp on the back of the carb, then just slide out the carb and isolator to the right side, just falls right out. Also its good to replace the O-Ring on the front side of the isolator at the head, they harden and flatten and leak with time, so does the O-ring on the front of the carb to the isolator. Its a lot easier then dealing with the 10mm nuts at the carb, the bolts to the head are easy to get to. I've rebuilt a lot of these 200's, 200, 200E, 200ES. You can get any part you need for them still, the valve caps can be replaced with brand new XR200 valve caps from Amazon since those are so chowdered, new o-rings on them will stop leaks there as well.

There is a young lad that will be very pleased with you. I have been there ! Not with motors, but fixing things in general and have found that a few items I have worked on suddenly start to work and I never knew how ?!! Apologies if I have already mentioned this, but as a pit crew for a Mini 1000 Challenge series team here in Blighty, we were on a track day at Brands Hatch. I was taking lap times and the car failed to appear from Clearways. After looking around, there was the driver in a small layby just on Paddock bend. I got permission from the tower to go across the grass to see him. He said "your the electronics guy fix this will you ?" Er ..... OK I replied and started to look at what was wrong, there was no spark between the lead and chasis. So I disconnected the main lead into the distributor cap and electrocuted all who were leaning against the car. I said it was the rotor arm. The driver rushed over to the pits and came back with one which when fitted fired up no problems. Some head scratching occured when I lokked at this rotor arm on the bench with all sorts of highly sophisticated equipment, nothing wrong with it. When compared to a working one same dimensions. Its still in my toolbox, fault not known ???! Wierd !

My tools came from dead grandpa because the Snap-On truck never showed up in my driveway. Jets were cleared with grandma's smallest sewing needles. But he’s got a wife and small child, I think? So there are now other pressures. He has to make money from a YT channel (not the smartest move) just to survive. He really should have a regular job with health insurance and the YT channel as a side gig.

Yeah this one is in much better shape than the ones for sale around me. And the sellers are smoking some good stuff, wanting $2,000 for them because it’s “rare”. Even though it’s in God awful shape, and it’ll need another $1k+ work done to it. For that price, you can buy a used 2-stroke race bike that’s only a few years old, and is in excellent condition. Or better yet, a mint condition vintage one. 2 stroke bikes will become rare one day, once the EPA and government outlaws them. It’s already starting to happen as we speak. It’s a slow death.

200S not 200X. Huge difference. Not in bad condition at all. Ya have to realize it's a 1985 3 wheeler that's been through several generations of kids beating the living crap out of it lol. Testament to the build quality of the old Hondas is that they usually fire rite up with a simple carb rebuild and some fresh fuel.

I know this is a late post ,the decompression cable goes to the top of the pull start cover ,there is a mechanism in the pull start cover, pull back the tape on top of pull start cover and the hole should be there

You Sir need a Knipex Zangenschlüssel 8603180 for your valve covers. It's nice to the surface and stronger than any other tool. Comes in 3 sizes.

To get those little timing covers off Ive just used a quarter and a vice grip. Tap on the quarter w a hammer and twist. Usually works.

In 2021 one of those sold for 12,000 dollars in mint condition.its a rare bike and worth restoring.

A 200S isn't a rare bike at all. Even mint, they don't bring that much money. I have one. Plus I had a parts bike, plus 2 engines. A nice 350X or 250R might bring 8K, but thats the top of the heap.

Clean off metal on electrical connector in cap. Check valves to, they are infamous for loosening/ tightening adjusters. Pull that compression release back see if exhaust valve is slightly opening.

Love you content man. You need to check out LA guard dog, and put it on your trailer so that you don't have to have straps. I use it on my four wheelers, side by sides, and even my zero turns. Anything with a ball hitch
