Next time you need to pull a carb from a 200 Honda here is a tip... Remove the two M6 bolts that hold the rubber isolator to the head, 8mm wrench, loosen the intake hose clamp on the back of the carb, then just slide out the carb and isolator to the right side, just falls right out. Also its good to replace the O-Ring on the front side of the isolator at the head, they harden and flatten and leak with time, so does the O-ring on the front of the carb to the isolator. Its a lot easier then dealing with the 10mm nuts at the carb, the bolts to the head are easy to get to. I've rebuilt a lot of these 200's, 200, 200E, 200ES. You can get any part you need for them still, the valve caps can be replaced with brand new XR200 valve caps from Amazon since those are so chowdered, new o-rings on them will stop leaks there as well.

I had a 250 Honda 3 wheeler 2 stroke, it was red white and blue, I used it to pull my ice shanty, it was fast but too tippy for me, I traded it for a 125 Honda CR, this stuff brings back memories, I love it.

@@PaulHigginbothamSr This thing actually isn't too bad looking for what it is. Even when it sounds like they're pounding nails they still run. I see people around my area all the time asking crazy money for something that's otherwise scrap. The one's that amuse me the most are the people selling a fairly clean machine for a crazy price and try to pull it off as being "mint" when there's huge chunks taken out of the plastics. Just because it's clean doesn't make it mint. :)

Don't mean to be critacal, just helpful. You almost always turn Cresent wrench, channel locks, and vice grips in wrong direction. they are desighned to tighten the girp when presure is applied, when turned in tie correct direction. 🙂

Those tires are replacements, the originals had big nobbs, I had to replace the front tire on my 110, the only tire i could find was like those.

Yeah this one is in much better shape than the ones for sale around me. And the sellers are smoking some good stuff, wanting $2,000 for them because it’s “rare”. Even though it’s in God awful shape, and it’ll need another $1k+ work done to it. For that price, you can buy a used 2-stroke race bike that’s only a few years old, and is in excellent condition. Or better yet, a mint condition vintage one. 2 stroke bikes will become rare one day, once the EPA and government outlaws them. It’s already starting to happen as we speak. It’s a slow death.

@@manuela.hernandezcordero2658Them little China quads are actually pretty good. Other than the chain falling off constantly, I had a neighbor who abused the crap out of his and it still kept going. It still ran after he submerged it in mud, and flipped it 5 times in a row. They are slow, but fun. Perfect for people who know how to work on their toys, and don’t want to spend a whole lot of money fixing it. They make semi automatic and manual ones too, if you want to go faster. The automatic ones uses just one gear, and it’s equivalent to 3rd gear. Not too slow, but not fast either.

If you think that one's rough you should have seen the one I owned for 15 years as a kid. There wasn't a bit of that bike that didn't have wire holding it together. But that was the bike that made me realize Honda's are damn near invincible. That thing was under water more then above In its last days.

Try looking up acupuncture needles / 3d printer nozzle cleaner. They're very small needles that are pretty strong. Would be nice for cleaning out jets.

There are many companies that make actual jet cleaners. They cost, like, $10. They work great.

ahhh, fond memories of watching the news with a cast on my broken arm at 10 years-old, the day they outlawed the sale of those. 😆

I had 3 of those on my ranch in Montana, rode the H-E double hockey stick out of them through rugged country, up mountains, through streams.., and not one time did they fail me or my ranch hands!
Of course I kept the maintenance up on them, oil changes, tune ups...
They are indestructible if you take care of them.
Hats off to Joe for taking this one and working on it.
Oh hey Joe brother, we miss your "master mechanic " Vinny😅😊😂

Spark tester doesn’t show compression. Spark plugs that are weak blow out under compression. You bought an Amazon toy

Where do you always get the manual info like carb jets sizes or intake and exhaust valves and stuff about all machines you fix? Is there some kinda site? If yes, what is it?

You need PROPER spanners not an adjustable wrench.
