Load is much more sincere than Black Album. Metallica didn't give a piss to anyone when they recorded Load and there are fucking nice songs on it. I preder listening to Load to listening Black Album, D# fits much more on James's vocals than E.
Luciano Roberto I think the black album is pretty pure, more so than load and reload, they tried so hard to reinvent themselves, it works, but in all honesty, their purest album by far, and worst, is st anger, it is boiled down emotion

Due to the injury, the exercises he partook in and natural changes and wear-and-tear over time, his voice changed to be less raspy and more melodic
Agree. The so called SO WHAT incident occurred in 1991 and THEN they went on tour for the Black Album and James KILLED it for 2 years on tour. His voice was NO blown out in Moscow, San Diego, Mexico, etc. BULLSHIT.
