Nice Greg. Thanks for watching and subscribing
Use extra virgin olive oil, but even then there’s no guarantee it’s extra Virgin, hence why I stick with avocado oil.

I’m a chef, nutritionist, and food scientist. Please send clients to an RD for best oil choices. You didn’t even explain these oils are used for different purposes!
You have to debate more on food, so we better understand your background knowledge. You have to debate with pro and cons why we use food and nutricion for. Where we buy online?
Can you explain? I'd appreciate it.
Purpose? For cooking as explained in the title. "Food scientist"? Really?
How about palm oil and canola oil? I know "vegetable" oil is not good.
CANOLA AND VEGETABLE OIL 👎
As a dietitian i can suggest- mustard oil, ground nut oil, coconut oil, olive oil, ghee, butter.
These are better alternatives.
And rice bran also.
I just use Butter, Ghee, Beef Tallow and Lard!
Or if you want Oil, Coconut Oil.
😊
Seriously? You need to reduce the intake of these fats, else you will have serious issues in the future. Best wishes.
@@loanokaharbor8303 any proof they are bad?
Lol.
You believe the propaganda the elites have said.
Animal fats are bad.
Even tho we humans have used them for thousands of years.
Seed Oils are the bad stuff you can put in your body.
@@loanokaharbor8303lmao
Most of the fats are high in saturated fats which is even worse than omega 6 rich oils
@@onizuka4869yes.
Lmao indeed.
So, best oil to cook with is Avocado oil and olive oil, right?
So yes Avacado best for the best as it has a higher smoke point. Olive oil good for all the other stuff
I use olive oil I've not found out I can drink a little of it too to help me with my skin😊
Very nice Carla
Just be careful if using it for high heat cooking, for that avocado oil is better.
Can we use rice bran oil???
Evidence based opinion would be nice.
This is a "short". You're on the Internet - you can find the studies pretty easily.
Ah yes they're going to fit a list of oils as well as peer reviewed articles and case studies in 60 seconds. Stop trying to sound smart because people who aren't and try, just sound the opposite.
You're asking the wrong doctors. These two don't read or follow the latest research even from 20 years ago
Do your own research
I buy conola oil.is that alright to use
"It's like the Exxon Valdez in there." That's what he said about the cooking oil aisle in the grocery store -- HILARIOUS!
You guys are absolutely the GREATEST!!!xxx
So stop eating food anywhere except your garden.
Basically
Wait a minute..
Is coconut oil healthy or not?
Extra verging organic olive 🫒 oil can be bad when getting heated!
Olive oils and avocado oils are some of the best oils mainly because they don't contain too much polyunsaturated fats nor saturated fats.
They're in the middle of the bunch and provided the balance that I needed when I had to balance my diet when I was younger.
Is coconut oil healthy to cook with?
Some would say the saturated fat content is an issue.
Yes
Use butter, ghee and tallow. Avoid anything else.
Red palm oil and coconut too
How about cold pressed coconut, groundnut & mustard oil???
Coconut oil is great honestly, for saute, all cooking, baking, dessert and frying too. Have been cooking with Coconut oil everyday for yearss and all family members are all in great health.
For salad we use Virgin Coconut Oil. Very healthy and tastes great too!
Cold pressed Coconut oil are super healthy. Cold pressed oil are not recommended to be used for frying tho, use for salad dressings, no bake desserts, etc.
You can do more research on your own about the health benefits of Coconut Oil or check Dr. Berg's youtube.
@@MK-ko9lz thank you for the reply, sure will try
Yes, this info is really consistent with what I’m often hearing. Seed oils are not recommended. However avocado and extra virgin olive oils are the best. 🥑🍈
Yes he said that in the video
What about mustard oil, Rice bran oil, ground nut oil
In short , Avoid all oils which are affordable and buy and use all oils which are unaffordable.
Avoid the ones that make you sick
😂 right? As if the economy isn't bad enough
Pay more for quality food, the hospital costs will be more later
Should coconut oil be avoided? I hear good and bad things....
Omega6 to 3 ratio in avocado oil is extreamly high 1:45 campared with canola 1;2 even olive oil ratio is 1:10....
I recomend olive oil... and canola ... flax seed as suppliment....
And avoid every thing else...
Please avoid cocnut oil in öarge quantites it is extreamly high in saturated fat even its ratio isnt taht attratctive caompard to canoal
Saturated fat is good
What about Canola oil?
Not the best
You don’t have to dress in scrubs just to show you know what you’re talking about.
Pretty sure they record these super early in the morning at work...
Is sunflower oil the same as sunflower seed oil?
grape seed oil is a good oil also. Maybe you don't have that in the USA
We are in Canada 🇨🇦 and yea we have it and love it. Thanks for watching and subscribing
Palm oil?
❌: Corn Oil, Canola Oil, Cottonseed Oil, Soybean Oil, Sunflower Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rice Bran Oils, and Hydrogenated Oils.
✅: Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil. (Make sure these are coming from a single place for example, 100% Californian. Often times people see olive oil and think “oh this is healthy” but some Olive or Avocado oils have other highly processed oils mixed in with it so do be mindful.)
Why canola oil?
@@oriarahamim9622 It’s highly refined and processed, meaning it goes through high heat and chemicals to get the oil extracted.
@@ChrisB_-sj1xg damn I didn’t know that
how about vegetable oil? is coconut oil really safe? i heard some bad effects of coconut oil, how true?
Red palm is good oil too
