Akali dal must admit that because of it we have divided Punjab into current Punjab which comprised HP and Haryana because it failed to understand the philosophy of Guru Nanak ji which talk about unity of all religions around the world including region, language and cultural heritage and diversity. Infact Ranjit Singh regime which followed Guru Granth ideology ruled for one hundred forty years inspite of Sikhs being in minority community. Infact BJP then Jansangh talked about Maha Punjab and Congress then chief minister Pratap Singh Kairon assured that he will get Ganganagar merged to Punjab being a Punjabi speaking area. Akali agreed to create Punjab where several Punjabi speaking area were left out including Ambala and Sirsa in Haryana and subsequent issue including Syl and Chandigarh and control of BBMB etc. worst happened because it joined ideologically opposite party bjp rather than moving towards Anandpur Sahib resolution. Sgpc election which right Sikhs get after long struggle have not been held for more than a decade because of their friendship with bjp. Even yesterday Sukhbir met pm to seek ministry for his wife. They should not talk about Sikh philosophy because it never understood that.As long as we don't stick to Guru established ideology we will fall. Frankly speaking Guru Nanak ji philosophy is about real democracy where as currently us is following capitalist democracy where several people are suffering due to ill distribution of wealth where as communist are persuing dictatorship.
