@@charleslacombe359 ~ I get that he had a gun and that he was hunting them.
I really do ~ it’s almost poetic justice.
However, these are effective hunters. They can roam in packs of up to 20.
I don’t care about having a gun, if they decide to eat you, they’ll eat you.

@heman7767 ive been on a few stake outs in the past sense they were getting bold and came close to the houses and went after animals. Didn't end up killing any as it seems us being there kept them away, and for us that was good enough. I find it a sticky situation. Both human and coyote need the land and resources and there arent many safe ways to resolve it. They are good at learning to live in our spaces too, but then theres even more chance of attacks. But its not that they are bad, just that we are in eachothers way a lot these days.

In fear i jumped off the top and grabbed onto the old ski lift cable and hang there for a few minutes. my other buddy swung his guitar at them repeatedly fending them off. When we realized he didn't plan on getting to safety me and 2 other friends that were hanging onto the ski lift cable dropped down and charged at them to back him up and luckily we scared them off.

I got attacked by a pack in San Diego. I was dumb walking my small dogs late at night. A pack of about 8-10 circled me and attacked from the sides and behind. They mostly tried to grab my dogs from my hands after I picked them up. They started snapping at my legs. I kicked at them and ran in my house. They surrounded my house and made noises for hours.

How is this whining? This series is just sharing the stories, this story wasnt that good but still. Also didnt realize hunting was political or that hunting was some America exclusive. I mean the long and short of it is just another moron in the youtube comments being prejudiced for whatever reason, nothing to see here. As stated in the video the guy wasnt hunting just for sport, it was to help other animals flourish and not be in danger of overpopulating predators. Also the people replying to this are clearly extremely ignorant, as any hunter with morals keeps the deer or animal for food, or is controlling population for the safety of other animals like in this video. Its not just for sport. Also animals like deer are not defenseless animals, they can actually be very aggressive, any animal can be tbh. I can see not liking standing over the corpse of animals tho. Also those deer and wild animals live a thousand times better lives then the normal animals we eat that are stuck in some compact room or cage of industrialization. However yes if you are hunting you should be careful of becoming hunted unlike the guy in this video, but thats the risk to it that you should accept. This is all coming from someone who doesnt even hunt and never has, and doesnt really plan to either. So dont come at me with that.

We had a pack of about 8, attempt to kill 3 young kids, the only thing that saved them was the enclosed trampoline gave me time to get there with a 12 gauge. Our coyotes up here in canada are a Lil bigger than the ones you got down there. They mixed with the eastern wolves when they migrated up here. They call them coy-wolves and they are big

We now have them in the Desert Southwest. Coyotes don't pack up in numbers greater than a round dozen, and they are rarely heavier than 95lbs. We've recently seen pack size jump to the thirties, and the individuals are now in the 120lbs + range.
What's the best strategy for eradication, in your opinion?

this video would be about 4 minutes long if it didnt repeatedly tell whats just happened...its actually hilarious to watch...cant believe my man kept his pants from a coyote attack..piss funny!!!..and sitting up a tree with a high powered rifle is the worst example of pretending to be a hunter.

Why is that the worse example? That's literally how we hunt deer here in Texas. 🙄

@@meganbaker3598 these folks like to raise hell about hunting but they don’t say a thing when you ask what group contributes more money for wildlife conservation……..Hunters and Fishermen.
Many of the wildlife they see today weren’t introduced/reestanlished to different areas of the country by funds from….drumroll……hunters and fishermen

They are ALWAYS somewhere they don’t have no business. They are either in the ocean wondering why a shark has ripped their arm off or they’re in the woods wondering why they are being attacked by wolves, bears & coyotes.
