Hi Emily, if we don't have magenta , what could we use or how could we make it?
im a 69 year old man and i always wished i could paint something. i just did my 1st paining (THE BLUE THEN ORANGE THEN WATER PAININT) DIDNT LOOK LIKE YOUR BUT IT WAS SO REWARDING.
Little to add: You need to invest in good acrylic colors. The school set for 10bucks won't do it, as some might think as "beginner". You need acrylics that are half opaque and don't dry instantly, most school sets you find are fast drying (so kids can't drag the color everywhere) and mostly opaque which makes it horrible to try to blend them. Also I wish the process of blending would have been a little better explained in the video.

Sometimes art tutorials stress me out because I feel like I won’t be able to do it so why should I bother trying, but the way you talk us through it and encourage us makes me so excited to try this!

This is the best tutorial I have ever watched, you actually give tips on how to make it better, like telling us about layering instead of showing what you do for the first layer and then cutting to where it suddenly looks much better and leaving us clueless on how you got there
