Hi Dear Viewers! It's been pointed out that an alternative to using the Loctite glue gun or similar (which I understand is tricky to get in the US) would be to use Gorillia's Construction Adhesive - which may also give even stronger adhesion: amzn.to/32SpxAO (you'll just need a caulking gun to apply it.) :)

I think the reason it needs / deserves it is because it's Star wars. it's just so iconic and legion is all about recreating those Star wars battles and the Battle of hoth just isn't the same on a dinner table

I just started painting a few months ago, largely because your videos make great results seem attainable--even for someone with little or no experience. Turns out, that impression is true! Thank you for your great, professional videos, Sorastro! These must take so much time to put together, but they're a huge help to people like me.

Awesome video, as always! However, today I have a humble suggestion.
In my experience, hot glue is not a good adhesive for XPS foam in the long run.
The best product I’ve found for gluing XPS together is Gorilla Glue Construction Adhesive. It dries quickly, but not too quickly; and creates a very strong bond that lasts indefinitely.
Thanks for the video! Just wanted to pass on some info, from my own experiences.

Thanks a lot for the tip Jordan! Although I've never had any of my terrain fall apart, I'm always looking for ways to improve my work so I'll certainly check out the Gorilla Glue :)

A suggestion for your air filter on your make shift spray booth. Spray the filter with non stick coating like Pam so you can clean the filter vs having to replace it after it gets plugged up with overspray. You'll still have to replace it, just not as often.

Thanks a lot Jon! I'm no expert, but building this stuff was really pretty straight forward (and immense fun!). Matching the colours to the mat took a bit of experimentation, and forcing my family to eat in the lounge for several days whilst I shot the video in the kitchen was a bit of a pain, but apart from that I didn't run into any real issues. :)

guys, do not use your miniature paints on scenery building, too expensive for the amounts you'll potentially use. Cheap brand acrylics are fine, as long as you have enough colours to mix to make variants ect.
