I had a really close relative pass away last Tuesday, and lost track of time. Couldn't really remember what day it was throughout the week, it felt like 10pm for at least 4 days. Constantly tired. I'm glad you posted your video, it made me realize it was Sunday and time is still moving and made me happy.
Excellent! Love the Star Wars & future Wild West dystopia variety of dioramas !! I also clearly remember seeing the Battle Droids & thinking they were the coolest. Especially the different color schemes they used for infantry/security/commander/pilots.. nice little added touch.
I absolutely love your videos!!! They are SOOOO soothing and relaxing that I use them to wind down at the end of the day. The dioramas are absolutely gorgeous and I wait anxiously for a new one every week!! Thank you sooo much for your content and keep up the good work!
Your friend likes Commander Fox?! I’d like to meet this novelty of humanity. (But in all seriousness you did an amazing job painting his pattern on that little figure, looks very much like Fox)
This is amazing! Your videos inspired me to start making my own Star Wars dioramas, so a video with audio step by step instructions was super helpful for a beginner like me. Hearing your thought process really helps me out. Thank you, please keep it up!!!
Remember Umbara! *Ahem* Lovely build Boylei! Legion has some great models, I'd love to see more Dioramas in the future. Maybe you could make an Utapau diaorama that's part of one of the big sinkholes?
Hey, maybe to sell your idea of 'slices' of a larger battle, you should have the characters shoot at things off-stage, and have projectiles coming in from elsewhere in order for it to seem to less isolated
This was the first video I watched of a diorama being made, I went down the rabbit hole and last night I completed my first diorama. Thank you for introducing me to the hobby.
Oh man, I really love your Star Wars builds, it makes me want to try this, one thing I think would of been cool is if you had one of the laser bolts hitting one of the figures, none the less, awesome build
Love this one! Have you come across any heavy duty bits for the pin vise? I’m really good at snapping these in half. Thanks so much, your work is always inspiring.
You gave me a bit of a scare this morning. I checked about 45 minutes ago, and didn't see my Sunday Boylei Hobby Time tutorial as expected. Dejected, I then had some breakfast, and came back to the keyboard, and Lo and Behold, you didn't disappoint me! This is an excellent way to display "Star Wars" figures, and I hope you will consider additional variations on this theme; like Han Solo vs a Legion of Stormtroopers in the Death Star corridor. Thanks for posting this! As a sidebar, what scale are these "Star Wars" gaming miniatures? If they are close to 1/48 or 1/35, it would be interesting to build a diorama depicting the Empire attacking Earth . . . .
Awesome as always my friend. But I do have a question, when you primer painted the base, wouldn't it have been a better idea to scuff up the acrylic top with some steel wool or something like that to hold the paint especially since your were going to cover it with the other stuff? Just curious because I myself would have been a little worried it would have scrapped off to easy while I was doing some of the other work on it. I was just wondering if that would have been a good idea or not?
Another little story told in wood, plastic, plaster and paint, along with a commentary interspersed with a sense of humour as dry as the Geonosian desert itself. Nicely done. 👏👏👏
good sir, I hope you know that you following your passions is absolutely heartwarming. You not only make art, but inspire others to follow their own dreams. Bless your amazing soul!
Nice build! To explain why the boxes had different numbers of models inside, it's because one of them is a unit pack (the Clones) while the other is an upgrade pack (the Droids). The difference is that, in the game, the unit pack represents a full squad of troops with a couple of extra models for special weapons, while the upgrade pack is just extra special weapons to upgrade your unit packs with. Basically, you're meant to build your army out of the unit packs, then specialize your forces with upgrade packs. Of course, for modelling purposes, they work well either way, but you do end up saving more in the long run from the unit packs. :)
First video I've seen from this dude and it's unreal to me how so fuckin nonchalantly and easily he figures out and lays down all the layers and bits that make up the terrain. Just incredible man.
An incredible looking diorama. Loved the LED filaments for the blaster bolts and seen them on some other builds being used for Lightsaber blades and Phaser blasts. Very nicely done.
Wow hands down my favorite build - it would almost fit as a crossover in your western town like an off world conquest! Great job as always BHT thanks for sharing!
Love those droids I'll admit I'm not much of a Star Wars fan. But Battle Droids Scout Troopers and their speeders and Bobba Fett all hit that special place in my heart.
Been watching your vids for a while now and because of you and the amazing crafting community, I'm actually making my first ever Diorama, so I gotta say thank you for shining a light on this new hobby I have, that I had no idea I had a passion for. Keep up the great work!!

Like the care with which you made the base. Nice planning. Recess the switch so you can store them closer to the wall.
I really love that you're doing more stuff with the led filaments, great stuff, thanks for all the great project ideas
6:00 crazy how it was hard to picture the terrain but simply putting primer already makes it look so natural
Awesome build. Love how your videos are condensed down yet retain alot of hobby knowledge. This is why your one of my favorite channels.

Thanks for leaving the acrylic scoring sound in. It makes me feel alive!

I loved the longer explanation about how you wired everything together and your thought process for placing them! Great video as always!
Your vision and articulation are superb. Thank you for talent you bring to the world!

Lovely, dear. Your sense of color and light improves with each project!
Awesome! Was half expecting a bolt to be going through a droid…but considering how little they are I reckon that would be rather difficult 😝
Thanks!
I’ve had both of these for years now you gave me a perfect use for them.
it's so amazing bro, I love it

A space dog fight with perhaps a weird angle.

this is the first time ive seen a video of yours, i feel like a little kid enjoying how awesome this looks
I have that early 2000s Lego B1 Battle Droid. The Antennae are indeed awesome, but I also love the gear winding to pull out the blaster.
That was definitely a great feature as well!
I really like how the lights give a certain hue of each half of the diorama giving it a sort of "good vs evil" kind of vibe
So glad there’s more love for Fox out there!!
I want my rust colour back now please!
Uh oh. I’ll get that back to you asap.
And thanks for watching in spite of Star Wars.
