My First Feature Film: Day I (arriving in paris)

I took a flight from barcelona to paris, where I’ll be working as the sound recordist on my first feature film. This is thefirst time I’ll be spending any significant amount of time away from barcelona since I arrived over 6 months ago. I was met at the airport by my one of my best friends evan, who will be working as the cinematographer for the film. As well as our gaffer, David, who apparently has been doing most of the driving. We arrived at the house we’ll be sharing for the duration of the shoot - a beautiful 20th century home in the commune of Asnières-sur-Seine, just outside Paris’ city line. I’ve arrived a few days out from the start of production, and I can tell things are starting to pick up pace. I’m taking a short break today to get settled in, but then it will be time to get work.
