My First Feature Film: Day X (the final shot)

Yesterday, I woke up with a clear mission. Packing essentials and teaming up with Manon, our makeup artist, we embarked on a three-hour drive north of Paris, capturing driving shots along the scenic route. Our destination was Merlimont-sur-mer, a charming beach town where the final scene of the movie would unfold-an intricate eight-minute continuous take involving Bill and Jeanne, a recurring theme in our film. Walking alongside them on the beach, we captured their concluding lines, the sun gracefully descending during our final take. Relief and elation filled the air as we knew we had nailed it. The crew joined us after overcoming Paris traffic, and back at our Airbnb, Clara, our production assistant, treated us to a hearty meal, showcasing her indispensable role in keeping our production running smoothly.
The following day dawned with an unusual tranquility, technically a break before our Brussels journey. Taking advantage of this, Chris and I explored trampoline acrobatics. As the sun began its descent, we gathered our belongings, ready to move forward, bound for Belgium.
