In my best arena run, I went 0-3 as a Mage. I had no fireballs or flamestrikes or anything of that nature. The first guy had Dr. Boom. The second had Kel'Thusad. The third had a Sniper Rag.
honestly, at this point I don't even know what makes a 12 win deck. Not too long ago, I randomly drafted Warrior and went 12-1, utterly crushing all opponents, including many Rogues. But how much of that was luck? Did I somehow play better? Unlikely, since I went 3-3 right after. You don't need insane cards, you just need to be "present in the moment", that is have cards that can respond at the right time. Fiery War Axe is a great example of a card that wins arena games, and having it when you need it will make a massive difference. Sometimes, not playing around threats that might obliterate you (flamestrike, etc..) can lead to victory, even if it might be considered a "bad" play. Bad plays sometimes win, good ones sometimes lose. It's a matter of odds. So best advice is this - play the odds in your favor, and you should generally do well. But you will still experience utter annihilation every now and then, through no fault of your own. Brace yourself for the hard times, and march onward. Everybody gets 12 wins sometimes, and everybody goes 0-3 sometimes (Krip showed us just that), and there might not even be noticeable differences in the level of play. If all else fails, Pray to RNJesus!
+The Fuzzician Back when I'd just started Hearthstone, I was somehow at 20 total wins with a lightforge key and no idea how I managed to go 11-0 (12-2) to get it on EU. I've only ever gotten 12 wins once since the first time.
+Let's see how long usernames can get,I guess they can pretty damn long like really long . Yes I guess I was trying to sound profound, or something. Also, is that the maximum length a username can get? Fun fact. I have never gone 12-0, but a friend whom I sometimes help in arena runs did a 12-0 while I was watching him, with an average Paladin deck (before TGT). I was confused, until I realized that not a single Flamestrike was played against him. Although, he DID pray to RNJesus before we started, so that might have explained things.
+Skipperino Kripperino I just realized something. Even if you DO skipp Kripp, you still get to see him again while he's streaming. I think you're a scam! Go away.
+L0gopeda Funny thing is this isnt League or dota in hs NA has the best players bitch so back the fuck up and go back to flaming twitch chat with your stupid ass copy pasta memes
Enjoyed watching this, a lot of thorough play-explaining. I know it isn't uncommon but for some reason this seemed a lot more educational than a lot of his arena runs. An interesting look at a 12-win run.
Yesterday I installed Hearthstone again, after not playing it since September, and decided to do an Arena Run: Pick Mage. No Frostbolt, no Flamecannon, no Flamestrike or any other board clear and only one Fireball. But wait, *4* *Piloted* *Shredders*? Easy 12 wins. Glad to see that the game hasn't changed at all. The same OP cards are still broken...
Amazing run it is, most of the time involving thrilling finishes ! :) Can I ask you something please ? It would be very nice (and useful ) if you could just include and explain your card drop in arenas. Thank you very much for your very cool videos, and your friendly spirit (always focusing on having fun with our own ideas). Keep on the good job Krip, and have a nice day ^^
Between matches you throw up a title and sometimes I miss it cause it blends in a bit. any chance you could add a black background to the title just to make it more obvious? love your videos Krip, keep 'em coming!
Beast Wars was cool. I mostly had Predacons because they were mostly all insects and dinosaurs. My favorites were Megatron and some Maximal Megazord thing.
kripp if u read this just i wil let u know ..for me u are the best heartstone and hunter wow pvp player i've seen im liking the fact ur family is from romania guess what im romanian too and i enjoy what are u doing keep it up :)
At min 9:50 he could have kill the egg with his weapon, pop the spell into the 4/3 killing the nerubian and finally trade the shradder ... clean table !
I'm not going to lie, I didn't expect to go into this random Kripp video and have my Beast Wars nostalgia triggered. Everyone I know drools over Pokemon but man I had a robot who could turn into a Gorilla I didn't need no Charizard.
Best arena run this year was 11 wins as shaman. Thought what I drafted was a bad deck since I didn't have much early game, but I drew well most of the time with zombie chow and some 2 drops in the early hands. Surprisingly, the star of my deck was Thunder Bluff Valiant. He stole a game or two with the surprise attack buff.
+kit shamans don't do so bad if you don't face players that flood the board. The only reason I had trouble was crackle hitting for 3 100% of the times I used it.
Hey Kripp, really like your vids. I just find them to be a little quiet, I always have to turn up my laptop or youtube audio compared to other vids. Both in-game sound and your voice is quiet
The minion's original stats are 1/1, but it got buffed to a 2/2 by stormwind champion. So when you reversing switch it, it set the minion's base stats at 2/2, then it received the +1/+1 buff from stormwind champion. Basically, reversing a minion's attack and health will take any buffed stats and set them as the base stat of what it gets swapped into.
+Kevin Zong if u switch a minion's atk/hp while they are under the effect of an aura, the aura reapplies itself a second time. aka stats from first application become permanent cos physics
+ankhi3 RNG is a better strat. Find your luckiest friend and ask them to donate you some RNG, that's what I do when I'm bored of 4 commons and a rare in packs.
@Kripparrian I'd like to hear you talking about how rarity effects the arena for example that you probably want a spider tank over a murloc warleader :)
+Irving Rodríguez When you swap stats, those stats become permanent. If you swap +1/+1 then that 1+/+1 is added to the minion until death or silence. After that, Stormwind Champion still gives +1/+1. It's kinda tricky but makes sense. Is like swaping attack and health and then silence a minion to restore his full health. This happens this way because all the things in Hearstone are resolved "in steps". That's why a pally don't die if the True Silver Champion heals him "back to life" (because it heals before taking damage) but Zombi Chow can't bring the opponent back to life (since the damage is taken before and that step is resolved before). If two steps are resolved at the same time, then you don't die then neither (is the case of the TrueSilver I think).
Stormwind knight gives +1, +1, health is added not subtracted, health gets swapped into an attack of 2 and buffed to 3, same story with attack to health.
+Irving Rodríguez when a 1/1 minion is buffed by Stormwind Champ, it has 2/2 "virtual stats". The reversing switch swaps those values with the buff, so the base stats become 2/2 permanently. So you end up with a 3/3 on board in the Stormwind aura
Hi Kripp I've got some questions now that you drafted a rogue :).Why did you take pit snake and not Raging worgen or Silver hand knight, both these cards are good And In my opinion most of the enemy decks would contain 1 dmg spell or hero powers like mage so I've been wondering why did you make that choice ?
Pit snake can create a tempo advantage by forcing the opponent to spend 2 mana to remove a 1 mana creature which otherwise prohibits playing a big creature. Also synergistic with combo cards because of its low cost, I guess. And Worgen isn't very good, it's just a 3/3 most of the time. Silver Hand Knight is really good though, I guess Kripp just wanted to smoothe his curve since he had already picked some big cards by then.
I got a 12-0 too recently with pala (sorry) and i have a curve nearly close. For it I got murloc knight, argus, uldaman, etc.. But it seems that rogue (which I play very often too) needs impact late, such as kraken and argent...
Last night I had an arena run ended up going 3-3 so I tied with my best. I was playing paladin and had a grand crusader, first time I use it I get Tirion (Can't spell) and end up winning. :D

Hey Kripp,
You were talking about haters and that stuff so i just wanted to mention that i love what you're doing for us as a community. Keep it up :)
Just went 10/3 in arena and its all because of you. Thanks for all the great tips! Keep going with those great video
Nice vid like usual. THks for the many years of constant content!
this video popped up on my youtube feed. i am sad now. come back to arena kripp.
This is why I suck at hearthstone, Kripp recognizes it's the correct play to take 10 damage from a toad by turn 3.
my god I miss these days 😢
It's amazing how much more happy and less salty Kripp was mere two years ago. Playing Hearthstone is really slowly breaking this man.
The DIY Muster had me dying lmaoo
Yesterday I installed Hearthstone again, after not playing it since September, and decided to do an Arena Run:
Pick Mage. No Frostbolt, no Flamecannon, no Flamestrike or any other board clear and only one Fireball.

Congratulations Kripp, well played and well deserved.
i seen this on twitch and idk why but i continue to watch it all over again
A 50 plus minute Kripp video? I thought Christmas was over!
Guys...everything just seems...PREEETY GOOOD
Bummed out to hear about the haters. I think your videos are great and I never skip the Krip.
predition blade is responsible for most of my rogue wins. That card is crazy good early game
It's really long? Tell me something I don't know already. Oh, you were talking about the video length. My bad!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Kripp had Beast Wars? Awesome! That show was the shit. I still have Cheetor and Megatron as well as that Scorpion/Cobra dude.
At least you didn't Fan Of Knives into Dark Iron Skulker ;_;
Between matches you throw up a title and sometimes I miss it cause it blends in a bit. any chance you could add a black background to the title just to make it more obvious? love your videos Krip, keep 'em coming!

Love to se more full arena videos by you :D
Beast Wars was cool. I mostly had Predacons because they were mostly all insects and dinosaurs. My favorites were Megatron and some Maximal Megazord thing.
Kripp posts video on his best run being a rogue, proceeds to only play against rogues all day in arena. Thank you kripp.
I hate playing as a rogue in arena... I love warlock and warrior tho
56 minutes of Kripp? hell yeah
This is as good as an episode of TV series, Kripp
This was a very entertaining video, thanks Kripp :)
21:26 "Thats kinda annoying"

43:15 how does swapping his attack with his health improve attack and health?
+Hithroc Mehatoko oh thanks for explaining.

43:22 that was a perfect goodbye
BEAST WARS WAS THE SHIT. I still have two episodes on VHS somewhere.
i love it if kripp feels so save he just calls enemy "deathwing" out xDD
i dont know why but i laughed so hard at "dude for battle" xD
At min 9:50 he could have kill the egg with his weapon, pop the spell into the 4/3 killing the nerubian and finally trade the shradder ... clean table !
Watching Kripp's videos before going to bed Kreygasm
This was great Kripp, well played sir. More please
As well the opponent's as all kripp's Argent commanders did really well. I've been picking that card a little less than i should xd.
I'm not going to lie, I didn't expect to go into this random Kripp video and have my Beast Wars nostalgia triggered.

An hour of Kripp Kreygasm
PERFECT video i like the lenght, good teaching.
yesterday i had 3 north sea krakens and 3 stormwind champions and 3 refreshment vendors in tavern brawl

Hey Kripp, really like your vids. I just find them to be a little quiet, I always have to turn up my laptop or youtube audio compared to other vids. Both in-game sound and your voice is quiet
43:15 why did reversing switch give the stealth +1/1
The minion's original stats are 1/1, but it got buffed to a 2/2 by stormwind champion. Fond memories
Could also title this "My best Arena Run This Month" and it would have the same impact seeing its still January.
How to recognize a born gamer. He remembers every freaking toy he ever had lol
Could you do these videos with 30+ min. more often Kripperino? :3
Would be awesome.
I've never understood why swapping with stormwind champion can buff a minion.
1/1 minion, storm wind, 2/2 minion, swap sets those stats in stone, storm wind buffs 2/2 to 3/3
+Irving Rodríguez When you swap stats, those stats become permanent. If you swap +1/+1 then that 1+/+1 is added to the minion until death or silence. After that, Stormwind Champion still gives +1/+1. Well, it is just the beginning of the year, control your hype. But yeah that was a preety good draft.
I got a 12-0 too recently with pala (sorry) and i have a curve nearly close. For it I got murloc knight, argus, uldaman, etc.. But it seems that rogue (which I play very often too) needs impact late, such as kraken and argent...
My first 12 win deck was with a rogue. Five paladins in a row got shit on in the last few games.
Last night I had an arena run ended up going 3-3 so I tied with my best. I was playing paladin and had a grand crusader, first time I use it I get Tirion (Can't spell) and end up winning. :D
LoE's made things trickier; getting runs around 5-9 lately.

Cant wait for next weeks best arena run of the year!
Wow just discovered the kripp in 1.5 he is a crazy slow talker.
Kripp this year is only 30 days :3
at 43:15 why did swapping health give that minion +1/1?
Congrats Kripp :)
I guess the guy who didnt play his musters was sniping, knew you had fan.
Wow... 2x speeds feels so much better :D
I really liked this idea and I tought why dont you make a new channel to upload your full stream or highlights
+Konstantin Anastasov or just go on www.twitch.tv/nl_kripp/profile on past broadcast.
+Konstantin Anastasov You can see a bunch of highlights on twitch. It saved alot of content usually.
Was right there with ya on the birthday mechanics til ya brought up your grandparents. Can't get calls from mine anymore. Feels bad man.
omg 1 hour long vid? i just came through my eyes
Turns out this arena run was preeeeettty good.
Dear Kripparrian. Every play is good if you get lucky =)
I remember him saying during the stream he wouldn't even get 9 wins... i called 12-0 lol
I've been trying to tell my friends rogue is badass in arena.
