I luckily never needed funding for my project, so I'm not really sure how to go about that, but I would recommend looking for local grants or funding opportunities in your community, and if not there, then funding opportunities for high school students.

I did not need to raise any funds and I do plan to pass over the project to a friend of mine once I leave for college.
