If it still doesn’t work, that means your TV is too old. I tried everything and my last resort was getting a new TV for those that are frustrated and can’t get this to work. I just saved your life.

Your tutorial helped a lot. I have a separate hdmi adapter than yours and it requires the option separate from rgb
Mine still doesn’t work with my projector, everything is working fine with a TV. But specifically it’s not working with my projector. Do you know why this might be?

I'm trying to use a new hdmi cable that plugs into the hdmi port of the TV of course and the other end directly into the Playstation 2 console of course.. I tried your method using the down arrow and x button of the controller but does NOT work. Please help!
if you are using an HDMI cable you'll need to have it on the RGB setting . at least thats how my hdmi cable works.
@@handicamper101 nevermind.. my brother in law finished what I started. My TV setup required some sort of a USB cable as well.

This didn't work for me .... I used a PS1 Controller with MINI AV to HDTV UP Scaler .... Anyone tried this with a PS1 Controller and made it work?

Yep, all about remembering the sequence of the buttons you press, and doing it blindly. Don't touch any buttons prior to this sequence or you will have to reset and do it again. Don't give up the first time around, if it doesn't work, try it again. If it still doesn't work try using a different controller, because the controller may be faulty. If it still doesn't work, ask someone else for a different fix 😄

I do tried doing that and still nothing after too many tries what could the problem be could it probably be the Av cables or what could it be plz help
gave it a try and getting the sound but no video on the tv, any ideas why that happens ?
@@group4taker I’ve seen a few comments where people with the same problem were saying to clean the input on the back of the PlayStation really good. If that don’t help you might need a new cable.
Thanks for the video! I tried this a couple times and it didn't seem to work. I have an HDMI adapter, but there's also no input being read with that. Any other idea on what it could be?
So it seems now there's at least audio, and there wasn't before!

Hi, I have a PAL PS2 and bought an Hyperkin PS2 to HDMI converter (the one with the switch for the aspect ratio). The first time, I use the composite cable for set up the PS2 on RGB and clearly follow the step by step guide but it doesn't work, only the stable red light when plugged to external power supply (5V-1A). I so tried to make the "blind" modifies (with the no signal screen) changing both the ps2 video aspect settings and the color profile to Y Cr Cb. Made every possible combination but nothing to do, still doesn't work. What can I do? It's my TV fault? I have an Hisense Vidaa H55B7120. Thanks and have a nice day!
