The Evolution of the Platypod!

The newest revision to the popular anti-tripod device called "The Platypod" recently launched and fully funded another Kickstarter campaign. This time it was for their newest called the Platypod Extreme. Billed as "the world's most compact tripod base", this newest iteration refines the original idea and modernizes it for the needs of today's photographer.
The company's founder and CEO, Larry Tiefenbrunn, joins the podcast to discuss what's new and improved in this latest version of the device.

Do we have any videos of the platypod in anyones kit in a real world use case? How often would someone use something like this outside of an ice cliff situation 😉
I think it’s really cool, just trying to keep myself from growing my pile of “cool gear” that I use only once or twice
