Hi, I am very much surprised with this project, and am very keen to do it myself, but the trouble is I am a not a technical programmer, so if a good documentation or step - by step guide is made available for such interesting projects, than people like us would be really grateful of you guys. I am very excited about this ambilight project and would like to implement it in my own pi an samsung lcd tv. But don't know where to start actually.

I love it and since I run XBMC all over my house including on a Pi would love to re-create it ..... your descriptions mention "The ceiling light and computer screens are linked to radio frequency receivers that are controlled via Telldus API" but I don't see how those are a part of the system.

Click "show more" for more information and a guide about the project. If anything is uncertain just ask. Will update UA-cam and the Facebook album if something new happens.
If you like craftsmanship please have a look at the project Nerdy By Nerds on Funded By Me as well.

would this be possible by running xbmc ON a raspi (even if you use one raspi for xbmc & one for controlling ambipi) or only on a more powerful desktop?
