I'm 72 years old next month.I can sit and watch you work all day long. When I was young, we split wood with a maul or an axe and wedges.
Melissa cleans up really nicely ;-) / so accustomed to seeing you in work cloths :)
@@Morgansunleashed /You're welcome Missus
Oh me oh my, "Mighty Melissa"... prettiest supervisor I've ever seen! You're a blessed man Mike, but you already know that 😁
Thanks Mike. Looking good Melissa. Up here yesterday ( Tues. ), I had 72° @ 1:00 pm & 77° @ 5:00 pm when I called it quits on DAY (23) of my windshear event above the pond. I have 90% of my view back on the pond now, looking at it from the porch. Wolfe Ridge made contact with me from yesterday's presentation & they indeed will be in VT come spring. I won't miss that event...
A tremendous piece of equipment Mike as it did exactly what one would expect of it... Glad to see you oiled the chain & the (8) zerk fittings around the machine is an easy number to remember too...
Bill on the Hill... :~)
Hi there! When my Dad was alive he lived with me on 6 1/2 acres in Maryland . We had not only a fireplace in the living room ,but we also had a HUGE wood stove in the basement that was piped into the air handler and would heat the house if need be. I loved working on my “toys”. Log splitter, snowblower, tractor and chainsaws! But now I live in Florida I only have a zero turn mower,Kawasaki mule, and of course my chainsaw! I am a 68 yr old (woman)
Mike and Melissa- just got back from buying my RK24. I owe it all to you two for showing me what I am getting. Thank you!!
Good morning from St John Parish, Louisiana. A very nice surprise to see Melissa dressed up.
My dad would say this is wonderful and don't forget a little grease on the tow ball. Old millwright/farmers never miss a trick.
You both are so inspiring and fun to watch. A smooth combo of partnership really make it work!
Bringing int to Pop up is Next Level, Supervisory type wisdom there! Nice setup.
Awsome FireWood production line!!👍👊
When I was a teenager one of my best friends dad bought an old walnut orchard that was being replaced and we cut and hauled wood for three months. The equipment you have would have been so much help. All we had was chainsaws and an old ford pickup. Every time I watch one of your wood cutting videos my back hurts a little bit more brining back the memories of that summer. Keep up the great work and videos. Have a great summer and stay safe from your subscriber here in sunny California👨🏻🚒🇺🇸
Mike I could watch you work all day LOL. Keeps a guy young! Listen to the wife on get your stretch on.
Now that is a fluid operation!! - Very cool!! - Rick
I've been watching your show almost from the beginning and it was like looking at my self from the beginning of my firewood business 40 plus years ago. all by hand with a chainsaw and splitting mall and an old truck. Saved up enough to buy a used splitter and worked up to newer ones over the years. finally got a tractor 5 years ago then the grapple never could manage to come up with a conveyer. Well time has caught up to me now and were down sizing to a smaller place so this is my last year for firewood should be all done by October. I know I'll miss it so if you don't mind I think I'll live vicariously through you and Malissa. Thanks much for your channel.
I got out this last weekend and ran my stihl ms290. Had some strong winds in the area that blew some trees down. Felt good to do some work and run my saw. Man glitter is awsome!!
Melissa you will never run out of work in an outfit like that. Mike, just excellent camera angles and editing showing how those two items pair together. More runs on the board for the Morgan Family. ( I have signed my own adoption papers :)
@@Morgansunleashed thank you, it means a lot to be part of the Outdoorgans. Super Special.
Pretty snazzy Supervisor uniform, Melissa!😎👍
nice unit' it sure will save some sweat and time also I would like to comment on your choice of music' it is awesome it always seems to fit with what you are doing I am an old rock and roll musician and love all kinds of music you and your family are what this country needs more of excellent work ethic
Looks like just the right set up to make your fire wood business really take off, really nice.
Hey guys. Remember all the good old days but have bought a Jeep and having the time of my life again. Yes I'm older than you by a good bit. haha Enjoying this.
I love your hat and dress Melissa.. Looks great.. Conveyer looks good too Mike
That's a great setup. Now you need your firewood team to come back and give it a workout. I'm 61 and still don't have AC in the house. I remember when we were kids we would be sent home from school when the temperature reached 47 dec Celsius , it happened 3 to 4 times every summer.
The musical interludes are outstanding!
this is not work. this is playing with toys. love it. I'm retired now 10 years. wish i had this to do. i can do this in my leisure time. love watching your videos.
Great setup. Happy to see new items to make your work easier and more enjoyable. 👍
As you said that really is a sweet setup. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing that setup great a really workout in the future. Now we need to see the sawmill.
I appreciate the creative filming angles. And oh yeah. Nice splitting set up. 🙂
MIKE,! awesome video, loved the camera shots and angles. You do a great job, not only the work you get done,..but the content ,... and the editing AND with the music. You're a PRO !
Fabulous, I'm sure Chris would like to use this video on his channel,
No, my videos are just for friends and family. I don't care about anyone seeing my stuff. I'm not ego-centric. Let's see what you have oh Johnny boy.
That conveyor kicks butt. Very nice!
Nice setup, if I were a younger man I would have a great system like that.
Yer NEVER too old to live your out dreams.
That is so cool ...is it better in real life ? Apparently it doesn’t take much to get me excited. Real deal !!! Thanks again Craig. Pa. Guy
Awesome machine Mike. I deem it a necessity for your business. Yes sir a very nice tool.
Sweet setup Mike! Looking good, I'm happy for you.
That is a sweet setup. Love it. Thanks for the video. 👍👍👍❤️
Now your area is worthy of its name! The "processing yard"! that ain't just splittin wood, that is an operation!
I wish I had the nearly $10,000 to drop on a 24’ conveyor! It would surely make my life a heck of a lot easier! Congratulations, production just keeps going up up up! ⬆️
The outdoorgans. That would definitely be the first shirt we pick up! Haha love it.
I enjoy watching your video and I have learned a lot from you knowledge. Thank you
In the "dog days of summer", we spent 12-14 hours baling hay. Mom driving the tractor & me on the bale wagon stacking. Dad hauling wagons & unloading and 3 sisters up in the barn stacking. Uffda.
I remember many long, hot days working the hay fields... But what I really hated was working tobacco harvest...😵
I love work. I can watch it all day.
Glad you did the disclaimer on cost... Sunblock and hydrate and Chris set you up one sweet operation... Next years 4th of July picnic you could give kids a ride on that thing into a trampolean
You two make me want to be in the firewood business .... Ah ... maybe not. Be blessed and stay safe.
Impressive set up
Seeing Ms. Morgan in her Church attire the first time, was striking. As always, she was lovely, but with her hair down, she looked very different. Now we have more to look forward to, in a Morgans video. The hardware stuff is nice, but it is the personal touches which make a Morgans video. As always, God bless you all.
The song "Tennessee Whiskey" comes to mind, when I see you and the Mr,. together. Some of us, listen to it. A fortunate few, live it.
Aspies tend to be too direct, and overstep polite bounds. You
have my heartfelt apology, if I have done so. God Bless you.
I started out with a 32' modified hay conveyor to load my dump truck to get it to my outdoor wood furnace. No worries until I started selling prepared firewood. Now I have to measure it volume-wise, which means having to handle it two more times (1. stacking it into a known size stack in order to charge correctly, and 2. getting the stacked wood to the customer). Mike, how do you do it? I stack it into two racks directly from the splitter which total 4'x8' and place those racks onto a flatbed using forks on a skid steer. Then stack from the flatbed at the customer location.
@@canamrider7195 I like a fire. I also like to be independent of others. I process wood primarily for myself. Using tools one has for other purposes is hardly misguided.
Great set up there Mike. Always like to hear folks getting to church on Sunday Melissa. Love the hat but I'm sure the dress is not OSHA approved for wood splitting. Management yes!!!
I thought Melania FLOTUS was modeling in front of the new conveyor. Great new addition to the Morgan stable.
Congratulations on the new conveyor you are moving up in the world lol they are a big help with making lot of firewood we have a couple to make big piles
Fuel for America, The Morgan's !!! Patriot Perry ...
Mike , On my sand spreader which has the same drive system , I save my waste oil and use that for the lube-----lot cheaper . And for what its worth I noticed your tow ball on the UTV was dry as a bone. I pulled a 10 ton trailor around New England for years servicing turf equipment and a couple of pumps of grease on the ball and hitch will save you head aches and money down the road. Nice addition to the equipment family---time for a pole barn.
Hey Mike very nice setup love that conveyor wish I had it 20 years ago we used to cut and sell firewood to make a little extra money for Christmas time all we cut now is to burn for ourselves I still try to cut probably 10 to 15 face scored a year okay this is Daniel Boone saying have a good one love the videos
Melissa Morgan sure does make these videos look good
that is awesome..... I will have one for my place. just awesome.
I had never slept in an air conditioned room until my first year of college. It's just the way it was.
Mrs. Melissa looked very pretty in her 'Sunday Go-to Meetin' clothes.
Your shirt shows the heat and humidity! I thought Melissa was going to sit in the chair with a cold drink and watch you work.
Hey Mike.thank you for the info,nice video,nice job👍
If you owned a landscaping or tree service, this would make a lot of sense to dispose of the trees you take from customers properties.
Tractor umbrella for shade.. here's a idea if you would like to use it.. connect the conveyor to the log splitter when time to move you have 1 hook up to move forward..now backing up will be a challenge..
Mike could handle that in his sleep!
That is a nice set up Mike!!
I love that machine.
Melisa in a sun dress, absolutely adorable!!!!!!
Nice outfit ,like the conveyor. Seen wolf ridge at Paul Bunyan show ,good stuff!
I like the size of the rounds and how the 6way splitter handles them. Perfect size for a fireplace insert.
I don't know Mike, I have met a lot of people in life that really enjoy watching others work too! 😋
Folks U have a good channel, ive seen a few series , but couldnt comment as I watched them on our BIG screen television in our living room, and I cant comment on UA-cam with the TV. But I do Beer reviews and tools on UA-cam, and big farm & construction equip. is an extension of hand tools. Your wife is a pretty lady, especially in this video in her Sunday finest dress. But besides being a pretty Wife she is right there shoulder to shoulder working with U, that is very nice. Iam in my Man Cave now so I can comment, U folks have a good entertaining & informative video. Thanks for posting , HAVE A NICE DAY.! FROM Ron Grovis in Eastern Mass.
outstanding job great work ethics congrats
Good for you, it's more than I expected but definitely neeed
Hi Mike, I'm new to your channel and love the subject matter, your candor and working together as a team. Great stuff!! - Dean from Minnesota
A 10x10 white EZ-up tent would make a great shade for y'all. With OWTM and UA-cam logos of course.
Love it. I’m getting $500 in MN cities. Bought a Multitek and kiln dryer. Getting lumber from Wisconsin for $90 a cord. Cutting 500-700 cords a year
Thats awesome
That conveyor is going to make an awesome candy dispenser at next year's parade.
Lol
Ha ha ha 😂
Mike, when will you get a decent firewood processor, to step it up a notch? Actually this will be the ultimate solution to your firewood operations, and the gear you are presenting to your viewers leads there inevitably. Greetings from Germany! Ohhh, and how many gasoline powered devices are you willing to operate at the same time? But I like your down to earth approach. :-) Get the job done!
Looks like your going to have some fun looks like you got some shade also
Proud to be an Outdoorgan! Did I spell that right? LOL.
Great set-up, Mike! I was expecting it would cost more than that. One thing I would adjust now is the table at the end of the splitter. Now that you don't need someone there to pick the split wood at an easy waist hight, I would slope the table downwards so the split wood just slides down into the conveyor hopper instead of building up on the splitter table. Make the angle adjustable maybe..
Another fun vid ....re watched ....
Definitely a bad ass combination of machines 👍🤠
Melissa looking very summery. Nice👍
We live a bit north of you guys in Corry and still dont have air conditioning.... Nice set up and it's still cheaper than a full on firewood processor. We cut and split our own wood for us and I'm pretty sure my wife would say we need this set up😁
Mike you need to build a big pole barn to store and set up splitter and conveyor and also the saw mill coming in
Working on it
Very nice setup, now I want one too lol 🤔👍🇦🇺
Awesome Mike, so far the only thing I would change on the conveyor is to make the sides a little higher on the bottom chute! Looks like when the wood exits the splitter it spreads out to the sides, some wood falling off! But nice set up
Mike . Work fascinates me I can sit a watch it for hours
Me too!!
This is great for fireplaces and the other things you're talking about...
Congrats on the new toy! It’s good to be Mike Morgan 😉
Work is fun! When you got nice toys!
I’m not afraid of work, but sometimes it’s just nice to watch someone else do it, especially when they know what they’re doing and have decent equipment to get the job done. And having a pretty lady show up doesn’t hurt either.
Nice splitter, mine only has one blade..34 ton,, have to turn piece of wood each time.. Now yours would save all that turning.. Like it..
God bless you and your family
Awesome set up, looks like fun. To bad I don't live closer!
That's going to work out beautifully. My bottle neck on hay is having to swap the tractor from the mower to the bailer and back again. 😊
Genius set-up
Pretty cool mike👍
Awesome set up Mike. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Mike and Melissa, it will be a lot easier and quicker to have the two of you doing the splitting. You'll keep up with the operating and loading so much easier and keep the splitter clear and splits moving along. Makes it more fun too having someone with you. You folks will really enjoy that system set up so much. Enjoy yourselves you all deserve it. Hey Hunter and the rest of the family too.
Malesse you looked awesome. Mike all I'm going to say is a man and his toys
Nice setup Mike.
Hey Mike awesome set up on your fire wood operations. Always enjoy your videos. Always enjoyed working with wood no matter the needs.
My nephew owns a tree cutting and trimming business he really keeps busy.
When you were oiling the chain for the first time and the chain was - CLICK - CLICK - CLICK - CLICK - I thought I was on the THUNDERBOLT going up the first hill. For the folk older than the Morgans it was called the Pipin back in the 1960s. The Thunderbolt / Pipin is a wooden roller coaster at Kennywood. For you NON-YINZERS ( non Pittsburghers ) Kennywood is a amusement park that has been around since 1899. They also have the latest and greatest steel coasters but the old wooden coasters are the best [ Thunderbolt, The Jack rabbit, The Racer ]. I am too fat to fit the rides now but closing the park on a summer evening is a great memory. Thanks for the video, don't work too hard - go swimming with Melissa and don't look at the pile of logs next to your neighbors pool. [ Why would anyone think about firewood when your lovely wife is there ]. So take a six pack and a diet coke for hunter and go be neighborly.
