I'm currently in a LDR too for about 1year+ its like east/west Malaysia kind sooo we also need to take flight, we only meet up once every 2 months. We are doing okay so far because meeting less frequent means we really put in effort and time to plan and cherish the moments together (okay maybe also due to me not being the super clingy kind of partner) but i agree with Titan!! I'm always crying every time we have to part ways, gurls are just emotional creatures :')
Me and my bf, now ldr for 1,5 years alr (surabaya-jb) n we use to meet every months but now im settling stuff in surabaya so we didnt meet for 2 months😢😢 but we will end this ldr moment! Yay !!! Moving to jb soon 🥹🩷

This is just my opinions, but I found the answers about the sandwich generation a bit lacking cause maybe both of you aren't experiencing those which drives the answer towards choices that can be made towards the parent. But basically being a sandwich generation usually you have no other choices but to take care and financially provide the family and future kids, so maybe the question was towards the time consuming and financially unstable problems.
