It’s endearing to know how open the two of you are with your decision to do couple therapy regularly! Ikut happy juga kak denger cerita. Good for you. Agama kan memang hubungan pribadi kita sama tuhan, akan beda rasanya ketika kita merubah keyakinan hanya karena seseorang. Tuhan juga tahu perasaan kita gak tulus, agama yang harusnya jadi tempat kita mencari damai justru malah bikin kita dihantui rasa gak nyaman. Rasa mantab akan sesuatu yang kita yakini tulus dari hati ku yakin juga datang dari tuhan. Semoga ke depannya terus merasa bahagia.

Ce, walaupun aku muslim tapi aku relate banget dengan situasi ketika merasa tanggung jawab sendiri dibanding membawa Tuhan dalam setiap langkah. Aku merasa kalo aku bawa diriku sendiri tanpa campur tangan Tuhan tuh jauh lebih berat, lebih stressful. Tapi kalo melibatkan Tuhan, mau menopang beban berat pun terasa lebih tenang. Mungkin CI Titan sm Ko Gaius bisa coba denger podcast The Bible Project... They explain bible from narative linguistic and ancient perspective... Sometimes our modern perspective just cannot fathom what Bible is really trying to say... They even have free app on phone that teach us how to read bible by movements not chapters... Hi Ci. Greetings from a non-perfect Christian! It’s good to hear your story and I’m really happy for you. Cuma wanna share a little bit, I was born a Christian, families are all devoted Christians. I have always attended and am still attending church services until today. Tapi, a faith journey is indeed personal. I realized that being born Christian does not make me a christian. I had struggles learning about Christianity, and still have some even up until today. Nonetheless, I believe kalo bukan Tuhan yang guide kita semua to learn more and more about His complexity given that our minds and understandings are very limited to comprehend about Him, we all could’ve just left Christianity. SEMANGAAAAT ci (dan aku, dan kita semua), kita christians semua berjuang bersama to learn, it’s a lifetime journey karena no one will ever be able to reach this perfect Christian standard, but we all thrive for Christlikeness throughout our lives. 💪🏻 Cheers to welcoming many more blessings and God’s faithfulness upon your little family!

Ini kesaksian, wktu sy kuliah, tmn kuliah sy agm Kristen Katolik di dtgi Tuhan Yesus, di dlm angkot, di dpn cuma ada supir, dia duduk di blkng, tdk ada penumpang lain, Tuhan Yesus dtg & pegang tangannya & bilang bahwa Tuhan sayang ke dia. Tmn ku cerita bbrpa x di ulang2 ke sy, sy saat itu cuma iya2 di mulut, tp dlm hati apa tmn sy sdh stres, ms bs lht Tuhan.
Lalu tmn main wktu msh SD/org yg beda dg yg td, main ke rmh, kita brdua sdh pd menikah msg2. Dia blg ketemu Tuhan saat akn di baptis selam, baptis yg masuk seluruh bdn ke air. Sy dgr nya , apa ini tmn sy sdh stres, sy iya2 aja, tp dlm hati mikir sprti tdi. Teman & sy Kristen protestan.
Stlh lahiran bbrp anak, sy trkna skt panas tinggi, di situ sy merasa tubuh roh sy ke angkat nembus awan/bukan tubuh jasmani, di awan sy lht byk org2 berdiri d berbaris yg rapi, smua dg jubah putih, bernyanyi memuji Tuhan, lagu2 rohani sprti di Gereja, menghadap ke cahaya terang, wajah2 mereka wajah org2 baik. Lalu sy ke bangun, krn di banguni Ibu sy yg lg nginep. Dan Ibu sy ngedoain sy, bbrp hari kmudian sy smbuh.
Lalu di thn yg beda, tetanga sy yg td nya beragm Budh.., lalu pndh IsL..., dia nyapa sy, ktmu di dpn rumah, dia blg di mau ke Gereja, dia sdh ibadah bbrpakali di Gereja. Sy kaaggeett bgt, bengong dengernya. Dia blg dia lihat wajah Tuhan, saat dia masak buat kue. Sy kaget, bengong, ga tau mau ngomong apa, cm minta dia ulangi apa yg tdi dia bilang. Dan sy blg slmt beribadah, & msh bingung denger yg dia bilang td.
Lalu antara th 2010, 2011atau 2012, antara thn itu, aga lupa thn nya , tp ingat jelas kejadiannya. Saat itu sy alami kesedihian yg saaannggaatt sedih, krn org2 yg sy baikkin berthn2, tdk bls baik ke sy, saat itu sy pgn pindah agm. 3bln sy merenung utk pndh. Lalu di hari terakhir sy dg agm Kristen, krn bsok mau gnti agm, saat tidur, tp sprti bukan tidur, sagt Nyata, mimpinya berwarna, jelas, sprti nonton bioskop tp lbh jls lg, sprti nyata, warna2nya jls, sy di dtgi Tuhan, dg wajah yg sgt tampan, penuh kasih, penuh kebaikan, wajahNya baik bgt, terseyum, di blkang kepala ada bias cahaya terang, memakai jubah, Tuhan berkata "Aku sayang pd mu" sambil tersenyum penuh kasih & kebaikan, lalu Tuhan berdiri, tdk stop2 berdirinya sampai nembus di awan & kepalanya ke luar dunia, tp pijakkan tetap berdirinya sm dg sy, di bwh, jd badanNya tinggi & bsr. Wajah Tuhan sama dg wajah Tuhan Yesus yg di lukisan2 Tuhan Yesus lg bersama anak2 kcl, atau yg lg ketok pintu. Sy saat itu langsung jd baahhaagiiiaa banget, sprtinya bahagia sy 1kamar sy, 1 rumah sy, 1 dunia, bahagia pokonya, sehingga sy tdk jd pndah agm, krn ternyata walau org2 tdk baik ke sy, tp ada yg baik & sayang sy, yaitu Tuhan Yesus.
Inilah kesaksian teman2 sy , tetangga sy & sy. Tuhan Yesus memberkati kita semua.
so, is this what my mom and dad experienced? aww so lovely 🥺. my mom was also a buddhist, she’s christian now. never asked how she was feeling and what was her struggle during her experience trying to believe in christianity. but, now i know maybe this is what it looks like. thank you ci for sharing this experience! i hope you have a happy and wonderful life with gaius ❤️

Ultimately though, I’m not going to be prideful and want to tell God that He’s got it wrong, even though I feel like that some stuff sucks, but my prayer is that He renews my mind and changes my heart as I read the Word of God, and I pray that for you too Titan! Dear Titan and hushband. Congrats on your marriage i've been christian since i was born but it just recently i started to read bible (otger than the time i read it in chruch). And i finally found my own favorite book, and it's James. It's very short, it only has 5 chapters but it's very content and slap!. According to James faith means deeds. So we have to show our faith thru our deeds because actions are louder than words. Im not a religious person but i agree with everything thats written on that book.
I’m budhist, dan kebetulan keluarga ku membebaskan untuk memilih agama masing2 sesuai keyakinan, karena mereka percaya semua agama itu mengajrka kebaikan, dan tdk pernh menuntut sy harus menikah dengan sesama buddhist, tp jika dpt yg buddhist akan lebih baik, tapi klo mau mengikuti agama calon kita nanti ya juga silahkan yg penting dia org yg terbaik bagi kita dan agama tidak membatasi. Dan sejak sy masuk kuliah di kampus kristen dan kebetulan mendapatkan pelajaran agama2 didunia dimana mempeljari seluruh agama yg ada disitu pola pikir saya semakin terbuka apa tujuan agama itu sendiri, dimana menjebatani atau sebagai pondasi kita menjadi org yg baik dan berguna bagi sesama

Heyy, I'm actually really crying right now hehee seeing how titan and gaius could and deserved 'happy ending' for them, I'm also happy for them hehe. I'm just thinking of it because my mom just had a conversation for me also my dad but the situation is a bit worse because me and my boyfriend are second cousin so it's quite different of course than titan tyra and gaius. It's more serious I know and marrying a cousin on my country is a bit taboo actually especially in our country in Indonesia. Not to mention, my mom is a very disciplined women and a religious women because she is a prayer and thinking that dating/marrying 'second cousin' is a sin. I honestly cannot do anything, I'm just crying with him when I talked to him :) It is so fragile and it is so hard, we are very compatible and make time for each other especially his efforts to me however there is like a fights between us which I think it was normal for every relationship. We always prayed together and I told him that please give me a chance like Titan Tyra did to her mom after many conversations that Titan and gaius have to faced. We also do ldr but makassar and jakarta hehe, I honestly think this is the only way and last hope for us :)) to be together. Do you guys think the same? Or any thoughts and opinion? 😢 No matter how hard I have to explain to her she won't listen :) well probably she has warned me couple of times :))

as a buddhist from Indonesia, I really have lots of friends from different religions and relationship wise, both me and my parents don't really care for the religion
its not the religion but its the personality
however my family do strongly emphasised that I'm totally not allowed to change religion
but me personally, I have a circle with 4 of us in 3 different religions and we all had committed to not force or persuade others to change religion
also we loved to share different religion's believes, I also loved other religions especially Catholics, where I also loved to rread the bible
I love my religion but I also trust other religions
I believe that i went to the same school as yours. Different cohort though. But yeah, they were forcing the religion down to ur throat, constantly!

As a Christian, buatku personally ya, iman itu urusan pribadi kita dengan Tuhan. Makanya spt yg dibilang sama ka Titan klo keluarganya ka Gaius, kalo ada yg mau pindah ke Kristen ya harus dari hati dan untuk Tuhan, karna panggilan, bukan keterpaksaan. And the most important thing is, Christianity is about learning. Dan belajarnya ya gak pas katekisasi doang, atau pas di gereja doang, ini tuh pelajaran seumur hidup, perjalanan seumur hidup. Bener apa yg dibilang ka Titan kalo setiap orang Kristen ada masalahnya sendiri2 dengan keimanannya, gak mungkin nggak. Bahkan menurutku ya, klo lancar2 jaya aja malah harus dipertanyakan itu imannya wkwkkw harus terus mau belajar dan bertanya, kaya ka Titan terus mempertanyakan ini itu dan segala isi Alkitab. Cari dari banyak sumber, tapi tentunya harus dengan bimbingan Tuhan sih, klo gak malah nanti nyasar kemana-mana wkwkkw itulah kenapa orang2 Kristen dibilang orang percaya, karena memang sesuai iman percayanya masing2, urusannya masing2 dengan Tuhan. Hubungan horizontalnya ya untuk saling bantu, saling ngingetin, saling nyiram satu sama lain lah istilahnya. Kan tumbuhnya harus bareng2 juga hehe

Don’t worry Ci Titan, as a Christian since I was like baby nut I also still have some struggles with some of the Bible verses like you. There are some beliefs in Christianity that I also not believe as well, so yeah believe me… we all do have those things we’re against with, not only in Christianity but also in other religions as well. What really matters is that God loves us and we keep on loving Him and does good the things in life He has been saying and teaching, it’s all good hehe 🫶🏼 And also like, tentang jamahan dari Tuhan it doesn’t always have to be visual like you said but it can be in form like what Gaius said, when you’re facing some hard things and God helps you and you realize God’s there, or in form like God talking through us pas kita lagi saat teduh, reading bibles (some bible verses somehow popped off and intrigued you), praying, atau worshipping God gitu hehe 🫶🏼🤩
