What a uplifting beautiful song that brings so much hope and inspiration. Expression and meaning of what true love should be like send me that song that will teach me.. I can't believe it does not have that many likes.. Shirley one of yes greatest masterpieces
Bruce Schuette This song is loaded with 100% pure AWESOME. I can't narrow it down to one transition with this tune.. Every lead-in to the chorus, with the vocal harmony: goose bumps. Around 3:32 - 3:39 with the lengthened "final eyyyyyyes" and the stereo flanging effect (a la Jeff Lynne): goose bumps again! This song just keeps moving from goose bump moment to goose bump moment! I really loved "Rhythm of Love" but this tune is BY FAR my most favorite of the entire Rabin period.
@@cattybound2011 I thinks miracle of life and i'm running are so wonderful songs as final eyes but this song is too many glorious and that's everything of everything in just one song c: I always had similar emotions to those you describes with Rabin period and even i've feel like in a matrix movie the first times i listened endless dream.
One of the better one's on the album though if you know Rabin's solo stuff much of what Yes did on this album and Talk were very much his signature style of composition. While I love Rabin's stuff I can see why Yes fans were turned off. Doesn't hold up to repeated listenings like their meatier pieces.
Yes fan's really got turned off when this album came out. Rabin had been in Cinema and fans were ready for shorter, more radio friendly songs. Of course Horn produced it and was already half done. Then Rabin came up with the title and bass line for OWNER on the toilet. Yes had a revival fueled by MTV and Anderson being brought in on a project going a different direction. Then Big Generator came out. While it's very crunchy and pops it's trying to repeat 90125. There was no progression or major lineup changes. ABWH really rectified this and showed that everyone wanted the Yes pre-Fragile. That brought fans back. Then Union came out and was just a goat fuck to the fans. Talk had the chance to brighten the dimming flame if Wakeman could have stayed healthy and toured but nope. One concert I was 18 they filled an outdoor pavilion all the big bands play at during the summer, then the next year they played in a hall I had piano recitals on the same stage. From then on the lineup affected the turnout. Eventually though they started playing festivals and...... Remind me and I can get Cinema's recordings including "It can Happen" and Rabin's old solo work before Yes. I might be able to upload it if my dad still has the CD. Rabin's considered the split when Yes became "two bands". Yet they were waist deep in mud on another planet during Drama. Even RIP Squire left to play in Cinema. Album sales along with income and lack of creativity had plagued them since Wakeman left the group. Tormato reminds me of this album. Big Generator was chasing 90125 but Tormato was too progressive for it's own good. They started using different techniques and instruments and long, multi part songs were shortened. Just like B.G. I felt it carried a unique sound and feel. Commercially they actually both did well and saw huge turnouts during each album's tour, but they're short and forgettable. Also both were a sign of serious change and bad things to come. I'm very interested in hearing what ARW are working on all the same. Not many members left so no lineup disputes. Rabin's turned a 60's prog rock group into a hit making machine and brought them back from the brinck, twice, so....it could happen.
Love the song, love the video. You should do Yes song vids before MTV came out. Drama had videos I'm sure since Geoff Downes and Trevor Horn co-wrote "Video Killed the Radio Star". The story about how them and how the merged with Yes isn't well documented. Still, I'd like too see Siberian Khatru get a video! This song and that one both have personal feelings for a girl I dated in H.S..

Beautiful work on this video, worthy of the song. 💙💙
5:00 - 5:30, maybe one of the most beautiful musical transitions or bridge I've ever heard.
