The awesome sound of Yes ! I remember reading a magazine interview with Jon Anderson shortly after the release of "Relayer" in 1974. When asked to describe this song, Anderson somewhat equated the lyrics to an "end of life" theme in which death is not something to fear, but a new "pathway" through which the spirit can wander and seek new adventures. Based on that memory, this was the first song that I listened to upon hearing of the passing of Chris Squire....Rather than RIP, I say, "...Don't doubt your part be ready to be loved !"

When i get to listen to this piece of bravery, I'm in a semi-cataleptic state and i recall my youth, all that was good and also everything that i've missed, but no regrets, taking life easy and to be over!
Saw Jon Anderson solo in a small club in Baltimore 4 years ago.More like a religious experience.Close enough to reach out and touch him. What a gentle man with a beautiful voice!
First of all, are you the Mike Jones I knew in Upper Marlboro? Second of all, Jon Anderson played in a small club in Baltimore 4 years ago?
Had not listened to this for many, many years...what an amazing piece of music.
From 4:20 onward is my elegy for Chris Squire. Thank you thank you thank you. Long live Yes.
+Fred Cory eulogy
+Dada Nabhaniilananda No, not eulogy. Fred correctly means elegy - 1. a poem of serious reflection, typically a lament for the dead. www.poets.org/poetsorg/text/poetic-form-elegy
YES, the last minute and a half inspires you that anything is possible in Your Life! It’s truly beautiful.....
I was 16 yo in 1974 and i keep The Relayer album as a relic. I'm a Brazilian fan
Celso, me too. 16 years old in 1974. That means that we are, of course, 62 this year. I, too, bought Relayer upon its release. You are my brother in Yes.
After gates of delirium the album needed a step back. How strong and hard that song was this song brings peace to it
God, I Love this Band. Thank you for blessing us. RIP Chris....
One of Steve Howe's solo master pieces. Amazing solos.
A great deep cut with a bridge across time.
I just keep listening to Steve Howe on this Album Relayer, and I'm blown away every time I play this album. Steve Howe, Classical Rock and Roll... This is a album that will be talked about 100 years from now!! The most in depth Yes Album in my humble opinion !!
This astonishing it soars me up to high spirits thanks you yes for all that it is given , thank you Jon for your beautiful voice from chile Cristian medina
Saw Yes in 73 in St.Louis,Mo.Never missed a show til 90125.Was in the Navy.Picked up at the Reunion show,Open Your Eyes, and 2000,and 2002 show.Tales, and Relayer were my Favorite!!When the Relayer tour came to St.Louis,Relayer was not released yet. They opened with Sound Chaser, and everyone around my seat was looking like Where` Siberian??But once we listened we knew Another Classic by YES!!!
I think one of the highest compliments you can give an orchestration like this is that it makes you think of people you love, things that changed your life and the good things the gracious spirits engage us with through out our lives.
Another 1970's true masterpiece decorated by beautifull lyrics and accompanied by a subtil harmonious melody! Yes is simply the best rock progressive band ever.
To be aware indeed! Thank you for posting this video really.
Yes timeless masterpiece
Maravilhoso ! Ouço YES desde 1973 . Fui ao show do Rock indo Rio em 1985 , ESPETACULAR !
Patrick Moraz Brillant Contribution, Steve Howe Sparkling and Non Plus Ultra Notes, C. Squire & Jon Anderson Lyrics & Voices and harmonics scales, Precise White´s interventions : An Agelical Master Piece
I loved Patrick. He was a team player. Even Wakeman admitted he could not have played some of what Moraz played.
.
The greatest guitar work in the history of the instrument!
I am inclined to agree. Using a great variety of techniques and styles Howe delivers his best guitar work ever in my opinion. If not the greatest, it is certainly among the greatest guitar work ever recorded.
Farewell Chris Squire... You will be sorely missed.
He was AMAZING. enough said
He's waiting at the South side of the Sky! ☠️
Every. Day. And in those minutes that create.
Can't avoid weeping when hearing this.
The end of is beautiful.
The chorus, against Howe's solo.
Me too.... at the end when that final phrase comes in... just chokes me up. Steve Howe had a way of playing that would just pull the raw and pure emotion out of me.
It's the only proper response
One of a few songs that can really move me to tears. I absolutely want this at my funeral although by the time I die this piece will probably be more than 100 years old. Such a beautiful song.
Impossible to have one favorite yes song as far as I'm concerned, but this one is towards the top of the list, especially based on the quality of musicianship on this one across the board. Wonderful for a trip through the shores' forests

Greetings from Atlantic City New Jersey USA.
Flying in imagination its on of the good things we can do. The Yes band can propose one extremendous Journey of our lives.
Such A Heaven Sent Band. Always Touched My Life.
We are blessed to be living in the same timespan as Steve and Jon, and Rick and Chris.
Steve Howe didn't play his iconic Gibson ES 170 on this album. He chose to play a Fender Telecaster because he wanted a rawer sound. It worked.
Yes has been my favorite band for the past 10 years now. I didn't know they existed before then! Just finished listening. In tears.
