Yes. I heard him say he thought women were fed up and they would vote BLUE after the Supreme Court Justices lied to get on the Court and then stuck ot to half the citizens of this country. All those men saying "a woman scorned..." BS. A woman wronged by men who will never be able to bear a child and who cavalierly made a decision that would never affect them physically had better think twice about denying any more rights of their fellow citizens. This was the price for their for forcing their beliefs upon others. They emerge the principal cause for the lack of a red wave, which also was an affirmation of democracy over fascism.

There's a guy in my very small rural community who has a tall flagpole in front of his house. Since the 2020 election, he has flown various flags, such as the trump one seen everywhere on the 6th at the Capitol. Of course he has a "Feck Biden" flag, the Gadsden flag, and a weird one similar to Gadsden except it has the rattlesnake coiled around an AR and some verbiage I can't read. Not sure how a rattlesnake could aim and pull a trigger on a rifle, but I guess he enjoys his fantasies!
I only drive down the mountain 4 times a month to buy supplies and two days ago I passed his house, wondering which flag he would be flying.
His flagpole was empty... just like his brain.

There's only so much Dems can do via reconciliation even if by some miracle they keep the House this cycle, and I just don't see any Republicans further alienating their easily baffled and angered base they so desperately cling to. On the state level it's definitely helped, but we're still going to have deep red states telling 10 year old girls they have to bear their abusive stepfather's child because "God's will".

Polls are very tricky. I read this one thing about them, which was eye-opening.
During the 2016 primary, Hillary was up against Bernie. So one group did an experiment by putting out two polls:
In one, they basically asked who the person would support, and in that one Hillary came out ahead, regardless of whether the respondent was a man or a woman.
In the second poll, if the respondent was a man, they first asked if they were married and if their wife worked. If she did, they asked who made more money. In this poll, men favored Bernie! The argument was that in cases where the wife made more money than the man, he took out his resentment (if he had any) on Hillary.
So the makeup of the poll, i.e., the questions, and how they are asked have a big effect on the outcome.
