- In this step-by-step tutorial, learn how to export assets WITH MATERIAL, from Quixel Bridge to Cinema 4D with a quick and easy fix! No downloads required.
This method works for all programs like Blender, Maya, etc.
🚀 Sometimes the material wont show up, as the object are grouped. Open the group, and drag the material on it! Also, if the material wont appear in viewport, check redshift renderview.

Didn't work for me. Cinema 4D 2024.5.1
thanks!
Nop, doesn't work at all on Mac.
MSLiveLink?? Anyone know what you have to do to get that? My plugins folder doesn't have anything in it
are you sure ur on the correct c4d folder?
it works! thanks you very much!
Glad to hear! So nice when you dont have to download anything, like the other tutorials☺️
@@GranzDesign You don't how many months I am trying but failing. and yeah, your solution so simple. thanks for sharing!
The export option still appears greyed out to me..
Have you connected your bridge with c4d?
Go to the asset's Export Settings, select Custom Socket Export from the Export Target drop-down.
In the Socket Port field set the port to 24420.
Go back to the asset details panel, click Export and your asset should appear in Cinema 4D.
@@GranzDesign pin it this worked for me after doing steps in the video, (mine wasnt greyed out but it still would not export until i changed port number)
Im getting the model int but the textures are fucked. :)
Are the model grouped? Sometimes the texture only applies to the group, but not the model itself. You need to expand the group (+ icon), and drag the texture on the missing texture icon (?)
No its more like the texture its self isn't coming in no maps etc@@GranzDesign
@@bloohaus8670 have you checked if the textures are downloaded on your hard drive?
why does my C4D Folder plugins is empty?
Are you sure its the correct cinema 4d folder
does it work on mac?
should work on both pc and mac
Didn't work for me. Cinema 4D 2024.2.0 and Bridge 2023.1.0
hm, what is happening when you export the model to c4d?
Nothing. No object appears in C4D, though bridge does say “exported successfully”.
@@RockwellProducts have you linked your bridge with c4d? I did not show it in the tutorial, because most with this problem have already done it
Yes they're linked. I can try uninstalling Bridge and trying again though.@@GranzDesign
rubbish! doesn't work
Can you tell me what version you are on? And have you linked your bridge with C4D?
Thanks!!! It helps a lot!
