    love your stuff, I couldn't wear this at age almost 60, but it sure would look fantastic on my 30 year old daughter. I LOVE that color!

    I have the perfect dress for this, a button up cotton tank dress but the cotton is stiffer and perfect for a puff to stay in a sleeve, maxi length but I'm altering it to be above knee, then using the scraps to add short puff sleeves. Did I literally just buy a sewing machine and have no idea what I'm doing and will most likely screw it up? Yes of course but it'll be fun and it's how I spend my pandemic spare time. Thank you SO MUCH for this you're amazing Mimi!

    Thank you so much for the step by step, it really helps to better understand. Also the changing of how to adjust the pattern to fit different parts of the body was a great touch. It's show a great way to contour an awesome fit. Thanks again.🙆🙆😍😍😍

    @mimigstyle so if I wanted the sleeve to be tight up until the elbow could I just cut the straight lines until that point ? also, if I wanted it not as form fitting in the shoulder as yours (so more width), would I just go passed two inches maybe 3?

    Hi! I would like to make this dress for New Year's; however; I don't have immediate access to simplicity patterns. Sewing for me doesn't come naturally, so it's something I have to practice. Is there another brand's, simple, v neck t-shirt pattern you can recommend? Thanks!

    • @samaraisnt
      @samaraisnt 4 роки тому

      She said literally anything works...so try literally anything. Simplicity is the most widely universal pattern provider so if you go to a sewing spot and they don't have it, I'm guessing they don't have any! I've seen people free draft a general sleeve pattern freeform and it works fine. The easiest thing to do is just trace an existing sleeve from your wardrobe. You can use any sleeve on Earth, really!

    Could you make a video explaining how to read and make a garment? I'm very new to sewing and am practicing on quilting stuff but I want to start making my own clothes but I don't really understand patterns also if I want to make it bigger then the size I found how to do that... I bought a few pattern but the McCall's m7532 is the one I'm interested in
