I've been asked to make a dress for a little girl and her mum wants like an A line with a slightly puffed sleeve so this was very helpful, thank you. I think I'm going to go for the last option and elasticated the bottom gather because it has to be comfy.
This was an awesome tutorial I’m gonna use the 3rd puff sleeve for my fizzarolli cosplay!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! A few months ago I was working on a Garnet from Steven universe cosplay, I looked everywhere for a more rounded puffy sleeve tutorial but could not find one. In the end the sleeves did not look puffy at all, this tutorial would have been so helpful!

Not a cosplayer but needed to work out how to adjust a commercial pattern to make a puffed sleeve (otherwise the top was going to be really boring) and this was perfectly explained. Thanks so much!
I honestly subscribed because you made it so fun to learn! I don't need puff sleeves but I'm watching this anyway because COSPLAY hahahahahah Thank you so much for uploading this!
Nawwww thank you so much! Who knows- maybe one day you’ll need a puff sleeve!
this is a very nice tutorial! I've also seen another way of keeping the puff in your sleeve and that is by sewing an additional puffed sleeve underneath made from organza or tulle. the stiff tulle should keep your sleeve in shape :)
Ah yes! That is also a good way! It sort of like sew in interfacing when you do it like that. The results are good!
OOHHH I always wondered how people made the sleeves keep such a specific princess poof- I never thought to do the smaller sleeve inside and fill it! Thank you for sharing!!
This will help with my Ordinal Scale cosplay, thank you so much
@@KirileeCosplay actually, follow up, how would you connect this to another sleeve to make it one long sleeve arm?
I have always loved the puffed sleeve. I feel it looks really good on a woman. I particularly like the puff at the hem and the ultra puff.
