I had to get the Minka as it looked so beautiful. I saw Patty Alonso use that first silvery shade and it was insane - not like the others in palette. I also have the Plain Jane palette. They are things of beauty.
I only own 3 of Adept’s palettes; The Heather Austin, The Ninhydrin and The House of El, which are so divine…but to be honest I feel you should buy from Adept if you have your own mattes. I buy from them for the multi chrome, duochromes, and sparkly shades 😜
This brand was a frustrating miss for me. The highs where so high but the lows where so low. The packaging is lovely. It felt high end. I purchased Plain Jane and some of the duo chomes in it where positively breathtaking, some of the very best. But half of the sparkle shadows had an odd texture to me. It was so odd I speculated that it would hard pan on me and it sure did. I had two shades that hard paned. It's not worth the money.
As the palette is Arrow inspired the names are from the main character’s hit list . People who are evil and destroyed/destroying his city and had a hand in his fathers death.

The owner is so rude she told me that she would refund me after that horrible mystery box. Then her customer service wouldn't send a prepaid return form and charged me a 20$ restocking after I was told they wouldn't. She also talked crap and had her followers go after me on Instagram.
Beautiful looks! I got the Minka and also don't like the texture that much. It's definitely not an everyday palette for me. I love the colors, but it's just too "glittery" and chunky. Selina and Linda on the bottom row of Minka are smoother and beautiful.

I picked up the Arrow inspired pallet as I’m a huge Arrow fan so finally bit the bullet, but I hear you on Adept’s shipping, I live in Canada and it more than doubled the price of the pallet. Not to mention the exchange rate or customs fees.

I LOVE Adept’s Multichromes! They’re honestly really great quality for a decent price, especially compared to other Indie multichromes. That green look you did is just lovely on you!!❤
I tried Adept for the first time last year with the Heather Austin palette and fell in love. Now I’m obsessed lol. That really sucks about the shipping for you but if you decide to try any others, I would definitely recommend Heathers palette and Ninhydrin palette!! You would LOVE!!
I’m with you on the Minka pallet, I was sooo disappointed by how chunky the formula of all but 2 of the shimmers was… I thought it was going to be my dream neutral shimmer pallet. Is there some pallets you could recommend that are for neutral lovers (more warm than cool) that has a beautiful formula of shimmer duochromes?
Hi Martina 😊 i am completly with you on your comment: minka is kind of thick and not that easy to use. I have that Palette and what i found on everyday i do not like to have those shades on their own as metallics on my Lids. It is just a little bit too much. However what works for me is using a metallic shade that is a Little Bit too dull and ever soooo slightly use minka over the top. Then it is stunning
I haven’t gotten anything from Adept yet, but I had no idea they had such different formulas palette to palette. Such a good thing to know! It sounds like the Arrow inspired out of stock/discontinued one would be the one for me although the neutral look you created is undeniably gorgeous. With my hooded eyes, I’m sure I’d be a creasy mess in a few hours with the Minka palette, though. I’ve been super close to buying their Plain Jane palette several times, I’ve just never actually done it. The Plain Jane looks like it would have shimmers closer to the Arrow inspired palette-I think.

Good to know about the formulas bc I don’t think I would enjoy minkha formula as much as I do like the color story. But I’m a basic b as well and just want my neutrals with rose/mauves and greens mixed in!
Hi Martina I love Adept from the two palettes you have I like the inspired palette better only because I’m in love with their smooth shimmer formula. The Minka palette came out for the holidays so I think that’s the when and where they had in mind, the last two shimmer shades are that smooth formula that’s in the inspired.

I agree, the Minka is chunky but I'm still glad I picked it up because either will most likely use for holiday looks or special occasions and I don't really have anything like it in my collection! I can't wait for their next release of the Seahorse palette and I think it will be the formula like the one in Inspired palette! Supposed to be released late spring early summer!

I’ve yet to try them because their constant discontinue/reformulation thing was annoying to me and feels unfair to the consumer base. I also have a lot of iffy feelings on brands making unlicensed IP palettes. I’ve also heard their shadows aren’t the best on oily lids and then minka had shea butter added making that even worse so it’s been easy to pass.
The owner is also incredibly ableist and told disabled customers if her website wasn’t accessible, we can shop other brands and it’s not for us. She semi backtracked after outrage, but never gave a true apology to the customers she lashed out at. I’ll never purchase from this brand
