Just came to say that unfortunately this creased horribly for me too and I REALLY wanted this palette to work! Not a single one has stayed without creasing no matter what I've tried. Thank you for being honest in your reviews Milly. I am grateful that there was a warning from someone with a similar experience.
Milly, I think you don’t get enough credit because your eye for color, as well as base is the best I’ve seen on the internet! Your the O.G. I value your opinion before anyone else. Thank you.
I appreciate your honest here. I had a lot of difficulty using synthetic brushes with this palette. Natural works better but this formula is finger paint.
the comparison swatches and demo were super helpful ty!! overall i think it's a beautiful color story, and i see your point on a darker brown. i know not everyone will have other adept palettes but for those that do, hopefully they can swap a darker matte in as needed. i used to not have creasing but as i get older my lids have changed a bit so that's also something i keep in mind as well! x
Thank you very much - it is currently sold out at Monolith, so I'll see, If they get a restock for europe. This time the pricepoint is fair imo (the seahorse palette is still available at Monolith). The shade names to me are well choosen and made me smile. Long time Star Trek fan-girl. For example Risa is a leisure planet (tropical with beautiful sunsets), which different crew members visited over the years.
a YAY for Milly Nowadays and welcome to Crease City ^_^ for me this palette is too expensive to be less than perfect, I just haven't liked anything from Adept yet that pushed me into buying.
I always appreciate swatches and your thoughts. I’ll get this and the arrow restock over the holidays. Never tried the brand so looking forward to it. Also I’m loving all the Terra Moons swatches in your comparisons! They seem superior to the rest. I need to get some more from them during the next sale.
Thank you for always mentioning in your reviews if the shadows crease in your hood (I have oily hoods too). I always know what I'm getting myself into and can make an informed purchase. Creases and all, I just bought it during the restock and ofc used your code :)
Putting the shades over a tacky base helped loads (nyx yes, pml no), as a heavily-hooded girl. I actually think that they recommend that on their website. I really love this palette, my first from Adept, especially as a Star Trek fan 😊
i love that you actually do in depth reviews. no offense to other channels but the 2 looks 1 palette and then we move on thing, never actually shows very much about the formula long term. I have extremely hooded eyes so I stay away from any emolient shadows, they never work for me. Thank you for such a good review!
I love your videos so much. I bought the palette too, and am a bit worried about longevity now, as I have very oily skin, and I hope they last with an eyeshadow primer and glitter glue.
I knew it! I seen the uss defiant swatch (and in person cuz I own this palette now) and thought it looked similar to Zor el from the house of el palette. I need to swatch them together myself now. I love zor el so I don’t mind having both. Uss defient seems like the less “glittery” version of zor el. Also I’m really curious how risa compares to clionadh mural. I’ve been wanting that clionadh shade and from what I can see it looks like it might be similar. But maybe that’s wishful thinking hha Also not gonna lie. I don’t have creasing issues normally. But I did get some odd creasing with this palette. I own almost all adepts palette and this one definitely felt different. But still beautiful and I don’t even care that much about the creasing. But something some people might care about.
Thanks, Milly for your thorough and informative review! Love all of your eye looks! I have like/dislike relationship with their shimmer or metallic formulas. I'm also in the hooded, oily eyelids club. I do hope they find a nice balance in time. 🤞
I don't have creasing issues like... ever. Maybe once in the last couple years but I never buy anything that isn't reviewed well... I wonder if I should still purchase...
Such a helpful review -- 100% agree with you that this palette needs a dark brown, but otherwise the color story is gorgeous. I already bought and have been wearing this palette, and most of the shades wear fine, but Pakled and USS Defiant disintegrate on my lids very quickly to the point where they can't be tapped out. I have hooded eyes but usually don't have too much trouble with creasing, including with older Adept palettes. I did notice that using NYX glitter glue made the situation worse and I'm going to play around with different primers to hopefully made those shades work. Even if those two shades are a bust, I still think the value is there for me with this palette, but I don't love that Adept is increasingly becoming a hit-or-miss brand, especially at their price point.
I have the older Plain Jane palette and it used to crease on me super bad, but after having it for years, it's a tadbit drier and doesn't crease on me now.
Is it possible to remove the pans in the palette? I thought Adept always has magnetic pans. You could pop out the ones you don't really like and bring in ones you prefer. 💖💖💖
Ughh, I can’t keep spending all this money but all those swatches looked incredible, especially compared to some of the dupes they looked really high impact. 😭😭😭😭
I have this palette. I just took it to Paris with me. I was quite disappointed with the performance. The mattes don't really build and every shimmer creased on me especially the shades Parxis and USS defiant. Creasing is something that happens for me here and there. THIS time ALL of them creased. It's a beautiful color story so I'm sad. Milly do you have any creasing with Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy!? I can not use glitter glue.
I highly recommend giving Fyrinnae pixie epoxy a try! They sell sample sizes for like $3 and i cant use the nyx glitter glue because it would just crease so badly with some creamier formulas
I think you said in the beginning that they said the shimmer shades were best applied with the finger. Probably why you had a hard time picking up with the brush. At least they gave a heads up. I have hooded eyes too but I find ig you apply above the crease they work well ❤
I love your eye looks so much because you do not overload the eye with ten different shades letting each colour show itself
Sometimes i do 2 shades at the same time but one at a time is the best way to see all the shifts in the one shade!
Just came to say that unfortunately this creased horribly for me too and I REALLY wanted this palette to work! Not a single one has stayed without creasing no matter what I've tried. Thank you for being honest in your reviews Milly. I am grateful that there was a warning from someone with a similar experience.
We're always amazed at how perfectly you capture every shift of every shade. Thank you for sharing such a thorough review of Samarian Sunset.
I love watching because you detail about creasing for hooded eyes. A lot crease ion me.
Milly, I think you don’t get enough credit because your eye for color, as well as base is the best I’ve seen on the internet! Your the O.G. I value your opinion before anyone else. Thank you.
I’ve been using mine all week. It’s so pretty. Probably my favorite adept palette.
Im glad you’re enjoying it!
Thank you for your honesty i do appreciate that instead of just talking up all palettes 😂 I do have this and love it. 🧡
I appreciate your honest here. I had a lot of difficulty using synthetic brushes with this palette. Natural works better but this formula is finger paint.
Finger paint 🤣
This palette is really pretty…I hope it comes back in stock soon…
The comparison swatches are super helpful!
Im so glad!

The Star Trek references teased me but the early reviews sealed the deal. Huge Star Trek fan, from the television days.

Im the opposite 😅 i want everything they come out with!

Yes I so agree about Obsidian Order, it is too dark for the matte’s in this palette. I hade to bring in a black to make it work.
IVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR THIS!! 🎉🎉

It is but some more emolient formulas dont mesh well with sticky primers in my experience. I try to test them both ways
@@badtothebrow Yes, it can depend on the primer, for sure.

Just curious, any updates on the palettes wear time? I'm on the fence about purchasing this...
@@jacquelineacosta1092 with glitter primer and eyeshadow primer I get pretty good longevity. About 10 hours or so.
So much work and so beautifully done. I am just starting to play with my palette. You’ve inspired me to try some different looks.
I'm so glad!

Yessss!!! I've been waiting for this vid all week bc u show multichromes the best!! 😆💕
Yay! Thank you!
Thank you for the comparisons 😭🙌🙌
🥹🥹 you understand me
Ohhh how did i miss your review of this one. Glad to see it now!
I don't have creasing issues like... ever. Maybe once in the last couple years but I never buy anything that isn't reviewed well... I wonder if I should still purchase...
Gorgeous colors, so sad that they fade and crease. I wonder how they would wear sprayed with a mixing medium. Something to think about.

You've given me something to think about. 🤔
I have the older Plain Jane palette and it used to crease on me super bad, but after having it for years, it's a tadbit drier and doesn't crease on me now.
great review, beautiful palette and colorstory, the Adept formula is hit or miss on me, i do love star trek.
Seems like they’re tryin somethin new out in this palette
I love using shimmer and anything multichrome. What would you recommend as a beginner user and what is your top 10 pallette's?
So helpful!
Is it possible to remove the pans in the palette? I thought Adept always has magnetic pans. You could pop out the ones you don't really like and bring in ones you prefer. 💖💖💖
Yes they are removable!
Great review
Oohh pretty ❤❤❤

I apply shimmers with my fingers most of the times but I know people don’t like to do that so I try to show application with a brush as well
People are sleeping on this one. I did this bc I’m a Trek girl and I generally gravitate a different color direction but I am obsessed
What lashes are you wearing in the intro/outro?
