THANK YOU FOR THIS. i came here for 32:05 and it's so damn beautiful
+1
Same here! I just stopped watching the episode for a moment in order to looking for this song. It's a beautiful scene.
Add me to the list too. Amazing piece of music.
That’s the moment I lost it
The moment when this episode won Season 4.
32:05 is the reason why i love this episode!
13:32 made me feel the most, don’t know about anyone else. It made me feel overwhelming sadness but also happiness at the same time. It has a sort of wedding vibe. It amazes me how emotionally powerful music can be , even if it’s literally background music to a tv show.
This and San Junipero are the most... "hopeful" episodes. Both of hem have that kind of nostalgia factor that makes you feel emotion
It's just like with the twilight zone, episodes like that that are so rare, but so good
schube98 there’s a BUNCH of good ones. The most heavily underrated being “a piano in the house” in my opinion. The last episode of the first season “a world of his own” has a sweet romantic touch, if you’re looking for that.... I could go on.
Personally I didn't feel like San Junipero was as good as Hang the DJ. It ranks as one of the lowest episodes of the whole series in my book. I'm not saying it's bad, just nowhere near as good as the others.
I think the reason people say it's really good is because SJ did have an amazing soundtrack. The OST in both episodes are part of what's making us "feel" but HtDJ made us "feel" even more because they also covered the emotions that come from dating & relationships.
The feeling of emptiness you get from one night stands, the feeling of being shackled when you're in a bad relationship, the cute awkwardness when you first talk to someone you have a crush on, the comfort of being able to talk about anything and everything to someone, the anxiety and dread that takes over your mind when you realize your time together is limited, and the heartache and sorrow from when it's over. Most of us can relate to all these emotions and when you combine that with a beautiful soundtrack you get an amazing episode like this one.
And both have a kickass soundtrack.
Disagree. I felt like Hang the DJ was a bit of a retread of San Junipero, certainly a cute episode but San Junipero just went above and beyond imo. San Junipero is simply the magnus opus of Black Mirror thus far. From the acting, art direction, cinematography, music, plot, etc. I felt far more emotion from San Junipero since death is universal. It really had me thinking for a long time whether I would want to live forever if it meant living forever without my loved ones. Immortality comes with a price and it was fascinating to see how the writers were able to explore those themes. I happen to be atheist but I've always found it interesting how religious people seem to gloss over the face that (base on their beliefs) many people they love will no longer exist and/or will not be in heaven with them...how can it be heaven knowing that?
Either way Black Mirror is amazing and both episodes have great music.
I had a WAIT HOLD UP THIS EPISODE IS EVERYTHING moment when I realized it was Sigur Ros
"Out there" is one the most beautiful things I've ever heard, it gives me severe chills.
Indeed, I stopped the show when I heard this track, searched on it & was listening on repeat for the next 2 hours lol Amazing work! Reminded me a lot of ua-cam.com/video/FQ4gdf23Lmg/v-deo.html the feels man! the feels!
Meee tooo ahaha, I felt in love with this song, i'm not even joking ♥
open.spotify.com/track/2ZNO4blDXihlHj99VMjB60 thanks me later
Like fingers down my spine.
This is my favorite episode, truly touched my heart, especially the background music, thanks a lot

bless you x1000 😭
The soundtrack really made the episode special, and emotional. Beautiful music, well done!
When watching the episode I constantly thought about Jonsi & Alex... Didn't think they actually made the whole soundtrack. And damn, best soundtrack of any TV show episode ever.
God Damn. I started watching Black Mirror a while ago but eventually stopped. The show has this way, with some episodes, of hitting something deep and it hurts, feels devastating, but simultaneously feels cleansing. Sigur Rós have been the same for me ever since I first heard them in late 2015 and then experienced them live in 2016.
Two very emotionally powerful but very different styles of art have collided. I definitely need to dive right back into Black Mirror.
Jesse Lapham exact same situation with me my friend
Zuriel Ferguson when/where did you see them perform?
Jesse Lapham oh well everything except for seeing live :/ but the whole discovering them around 2015 , then recently getting into black mirror, then taking a break from, and now getting back into it again. Also how it resonates with in. I concur with all of that and can relate deeply!
Zuriel Ferguson you definitely need to see them live if you get the chance. Best experience of my life.
Same with me. I’ve started listening to Sigur Ros back in 2010 in my sophomore year. I loved them and then I heard Alex somers and fell more.
It’s beautiful. You can smile or cry to their music.
I find it amazing how certain cords can make you feel so sad and alive and full of love at the same time. Music is beautiful.
"Doubts" just does a number on me. Absolutely heartbreaking and beautiful. Ive had it on repeat consistently.
You could soundtrack an episode of Homes Under the Hammer with this and it would feel like the show held the key to very meaning of our existence.
underrated comment
I love "Sorry" its just so damn good
24:26 man.. i love every track in this episode
Thanks so much for this!
32:05 is so beautiful, thanks for the upload and definitely thanks the composer
Damn this has the same ethereal quality as San Junipero did holy shit
Thank you so much for this.
Nice one G, i was looking for Out There, so epic

Didn't know my heart could feel so heavy, or feel anything at all.
Thank you
Came here for 11:00
I felt in love with this one ♥
It makes me feel sad, like childhood loss.
this music is the meaning of life🙌🙏
Vine aquí por el min 32:05 Además de tener una genial banda sonora, para mí es el mejor episodio de esta 4ta temporada. // Came here for 32:05 Besides of having an awesome soundtrack, in my opinion, this is the best episode of 4th season.
Alekz CM me too. I actually thought it was Sigur Ros, which even now sounds like them, to me. Thanks for marking it.
I thought the same thing. I thought they were Sigur Ros and was hoping for a full end tune out of it.
Totally in love.
I KNEW IT, this incredible soundtrack HAD TO be from Alex & Jonsi.
The best episode
Oh! Sigur ros!❤️
GODS WORK
Out there
naprawdę dobra muza
god bless u Sigur ros
That "End" made me lose my breath.
one of few black mirror with good ending
11:00 and 13:32 😍😍
Treasured 💕
I think this album is like 95% Alex Somers and the other 5% sigur ros, who is obviously inspired by his boyfriends amazing band, along with the icelandic landscape he now lives among, and it is such a beautiful album, i downloaded it in december last year and only just seen the black mirror episode, and the episode if definitely the strongest of this season, up there with San Junipero easily, and hang the dj has such a gorgeous soundtrack, though i might be a little biased as i adore sigur ros and alex somers music equally. And this album right now fits in with this freezing cold, snowy weather we are having in the Uk, close the curtains, lights down low, perfect way to spend a winters evening =)
Out there is so powerful 11:00
If you all are enjoying this you must check out 'Riceboy Sleeps.'
Sigur Rós
I instantly knew it was Sigur Ros!
4 people didn't survive the metal head attacks.
Really cool fact: the re-occurring melody from "See You" is a recycled melody from a band Alex was in over a decade ago called Parachutes. Their song is called "Where Were You?"
Check it out, it's fkn beautiful.
"Hey coach, count to four..."
Sabia que esto era Sigur Ros al escuchar el minuto 32:00 en el capítulo
#SigurRósFansBrasil 💚 💚 💚
Tamo junta querida.
Which of these songs is playing when they are driving together to the house where they spend the night together?
Nico Savaides basicslly "Doubts" is the closest. It differs from the in ep version sadly.
heaven is truly a place on earth
End gets me idk why
Really wish they would have included the in episode version of "Doubts" cuz that one is still my fave
' They are genious. All the episode was based on the The Smiths song called "Panic! at the disco". At 28:21 they made the real "Hang The DJ" . That's why i love them.
I've always had a feeling for Alex's music. And felt "Parachutes" should have gotten more exposure than it seemed to me to have had.
11:00 just... wow...
Jesus christ man keep this shit up
This is fucking Sigur Rós 😍
22:28 MAGIC.
08
Hey Philipp thank you for uploading this, can i just ask if you could upload one of the tracks alone? (Days, Hours, months)
Hi Álvaro :), i uploaded the track: ua-cam.com/video/I8mBCNeItUQ/v-deo.html
32:05 ❤️❤️❤️
every one its here because the end of hang dj :)
31:44 ❤
This sounds like Sigur Rós to me.
I mean, it is...
Hi, can anyone tell which one is the song where they break up early and has the scene with frank playing squash in red light. Thanks.
It's Out There - 0:11:00
Thanks to both of you. This track stood out so much to me when watching the episode.
Glad to see a fellow doom fan
How do I download this and get all the tracks separately? Anyone got a link?
Heyo Philipp could you please upload episode 6 black museum? Would super appreciate it!
Anyone reckons "Carrousel" from Blink 182 played on the harp at the reception?
can't seem to find how to buy this outside of itunes - any sugggestions (in Canada) tnx
Thank you! But I can't seem to find the one where Frank and Amy first take a ride to their hotel :/
I think it's some of the additional music by Davide Anselmi. He is credited as "composer: additional music"
Might be
if you speed up doubts (22:28) to 1.5 it should sound pretty similar
lili the pug It does sound familiar! Welp, for now we're gonna settle with this. Thanks :)
If you are able to find out who made that song or tune please let me know, I've been dying to listen to it. Same goes if I find it
can anyone please tell me the name of the song that plays when Frank sees Amy again at that party where she's wearing an orange dress and talking to the guy she matched up with? it's so beautiful!!
which one is when they were on their way to the house for the first time!!!?
Сan I have a song that played at the end in the bar?
16-3
15:25
Couldn't find the one played right at the start of the episode when the protagonists meet for the first time
All Mapped Out
Does anybody know what song plays in the beginning when they’re driving to their room?
Yees, pls
it's Doubts, but little bit different:(
over and over Again
Essa soundtrack foi toda inspirada na música "Panic!" do The Smiths?
26:52
I LOVE THIS SOUNDTRACK, but the litter of ads takes me out of the immersion
Can someone please tell me the name of the song when they are in bed after the first date and Amy grabs franks hand and she smiles and knows he’s the one? I’ve been trying to find this forever 😭😭😭
I think it is "Three, Two, One" but the recording is not exactly what is on the video...it is close, but not exact.
Which one is the one that they rebel and get out of the restaurant?
