One book i finished not that long ago was like my first 6 star ever! It was called: the only girl in town. It has perfect dialogue and the transitions into different moments was smooth and not at all choppy! One of my best recommendations💕🫶

My current read is "When You Disappeared" by John Marrs
And I see you've picked up Fredrik Backman. I'm so happy! I feel like we have similar reading taste so I truly believe you're gonna love his writing. I adored "A Man Called Ove" and I love "Beartown" (but it is pretty slow; it took around 150 pages for things to really get going).
Also, I'm so happy you're enjoying "The House in the Cerulean Sea". I just read it earlier this month and it became a 5-star read for me (my first one this year). So, I hope you love it as well.
Edit: I'm not sure if we have the same taste in thrillers but I really enjoyed "The Silent Patient" when I read it last year.

One thing 'bout our country is that books are expensive tinghs here, so 150 bucks would aford like 4 or 5 books, being lucky and in the right place & we buy it anyway, so dont blame yourself for beying expensive with books, its the same as oxygen for us.
