Hey Matt haven’t seen a video in a while? Just checking in to see if you’re OK 👌 I know instructor life is tough! And fyi anyone else reading this Matt taught me how to not only teach me but also helped me to create my very first flint and steel at the pathfinder gathering in 2022 and I still great full of his time ❤
Whats going on Mat? Just checking to see if you've given up on UA-cam,or if they forced you out, like they have done other channels. You still have people who are your fsns, and are still subbed to the channel. Hope everything is well with you and yours.👍👍
Hey Matt, nice video. It is good to see you again. I was wondering if you would consider this knife to be good for some basic food prep work. P.S. it is nice to see you in a none SRO video, something that is more you and doesn't hold you back or censor you on "God Bless". Rich Blessings to you and your family.
Hello from Vorarlberg Austria 🇦🇹 Strange question to ask but one of your next videos coming? 😅 Or has this channel been abandoned 😢 Kind regards Leopold 🤗
Awsome video. I like the way you demonstrated the knife. I will be ordering one. I got to watch the rest of your videos. Thanks to Dave Canterbury for introducing me to you videos.
Hey Bear! Thank you so much for tuning in my friend. I hope you are doing well. I appreciate you time, interest and support as always. God bless you and yours!
I agree with you 💯 percent on gear or knife you get to trying them out if it is awesome you will support them on their products. I don't get a lot of products to try out but when I do I gave them my feedback. I got the outdoor edge fold up saw the handle is to thin its is hard to hold when you are sawing with it.
Hey Matt! Great review! I really like how you demonstrated the knife's many users & then how to hone it. The timing of your video is really nice. My friend with the #campchallengealliance are working on making items like spoons, nets, etc this month. See you on the next one brother a
Hi Barry, I definitely will get back to that series! I have missed doing it and hope to resume it soon. Life has thrown me some curve balls in the past 6 months and it has been challenging o say the least. Hopefully by the second half of this year, things will become a little more like normal. Thank you for your interest!
Hey Matt hope all is well? Haven't seen some video drops in a while so had to come check in making sure You Tube isnt messing with your channel i know they been messing with Shawn Kelly's so your aware? and when you bringing back the Camp recipes? need some new cooking ideas and have some new recipes myself to share👍
Hey Kristopher, I have definitely missed getting the videos out brother, I have just been pushed for time so much. Things will get better and I will definitely get back more regularly. I appreciate you checking in and your support my friend. I look forward to seeing you out in June hopefully for the Gathering. Be safe buddy!
@@blackhatbushcraft you as well I know you all been getting some serious snow lately you guys at the school be safe and June is coming soon and will see you there 👍👌
Thank you for tuning in! I am guessing you are referring to the Nessy vs the Master Trapper? I would say that the Nessy for me is more versatile. The master trapper is a great blade just depending on your intended use. For skinning and processing game or as a light duty neck knife it is great around camp. It is even a good little whittler. The Nessy is a good bit longer and can do slightly bigger jobs. I love the Nessy design and paired with a small axe, it makes a great woods duo that can accomplish most anything needed. The Black Hat Bush Blade is the longest and most stout of the 3 at 1/8" thickness for the blade. To date, it is probably my favorite knife to carry in the woods. please let me know if you have further questions on any of the WC's and I will do my best to answer. Take care my friend!
Greetings Matt. How might I connect with you to discuss a therapeutic bushcraft idea? i am a military veteran and licensed social worker in Michigan. i provide counseling for veterans and first responders and would like to add bushcraft as a form of wilderness/ adventure therapy. Would you be open to communicating with me? I would be more than happy to pay you for consultation time.
