pinch harmonics 3:13 and tap harmonics 3:33 like a boss
I have to be honest, never knew he was this talented. Thank you for this post which is often deleted for copyright reasons. Burton will be missed but not forgotten. Maybe not quite Jaco's fame, but maybe he should be.
I didn’t know God played Bass for Metallica...
Roy Crabb lmao he doesnt hes splattered along a highway
@@TexasPoonTappa956 titty boy? Lmao what a Loser!
Thank you Jerk On.
@ Roy Crabb he didn't. God could never be that good.
Yes he did... R.I.P Lemmy ♤
R.I.P Cliff
Totally Amazing here, WoW, My Kind of Bass Player, R.I.P. Cliff, You Left us Way Too Soon, You Were A Diamond, Cousin Figel
When I first heard this I thought to myself I wanna do that! So I got a bass and started learning. 18 years later and still not even close. I still watch in awe every time.
Just practice and practice and practice. He did for 6 hours each day. You’ll get there :)
Happy birthday Cliff
Tan bonito el otro xdddddd
Hey look its his birthday again. Happy birthsay cliff!
absolutely killer tone... gonna go get me a wah pedal now. Thanx, Cliff
WLTRN 2KL8 You might not wanna grab the type of pedal he used lol. Run ya about 150 or more.
@@Lithuania8634 yeah. 150,000 😂
@@beltube Damn it ain't that expensive. I got mine for 115
yeah i got ya... it was a poor attempt at a joke, don't worry bout it
@SkyVenomZero funny, i actually got a Morley wah since my last comment, though Kirk hasn't arrived yet.
....YET.
Such a unique sound outta this dude. No one else like him. 🤘🏼
Definitely one of the best bassists ever. He plays the bass like a lead guitarist would play a guitar solo.
RIP Cliff Burton. You are missed by all of us.
Vom aller feinsten !!!!! Das kann niemand so nachspielen !!!!!Ein Bassist nicht von dieser Welt , leider viel zu früh von uns gegangen!! "Cliff Burton"möge Gott bei Dir sein !!!!
They never die if we remember them, he's never gone because we have recordings, let the music live through our love and our offspring, never let Cliff's music die.
El mejor bajista de toda la historia una verdadera leyenda
I was surprised that the guitar solos on "Orion" are basically just Cliff - on bass.. wtf..
Yes, it is. Not the whole part, but the big one.
I’ve always been proud that I share a birthday with Cliff! Rock on dude! RIP
I'm 15 y.o. bassist and Cliff was my reason why start to playing bass. Since my age of 8 is Cliffy my biggest idol and inspiration. We miss ya Cliff. R.I.P.🥺🥴🤘
Cliff, come back...
CLASSIC MUSIC + SOUTHERN ROCK . Its amazing.
And the Father said let there be Bass & there was Cliff 🙌🏻
goddamn those Rickenbackers... *sigh*.
P.S.--I have never seen a dude pull off denim on denim like Cliff. Haha. Best musician faces.
he is like dimebag darrel..can make instrument have a soul..ROCK IN HEAVEN DUDE!!
Kirk looking confused: "wait, is that supposed to be my part?"
Now you know why Kirk did his solo first before Cliff did his. Kirk would have been laughed out of the building trying to follow that up.
Cliff Taught Kirk. He was still using licks Cliff taught him all the way through the Black Album.
Someone:
Hey Cliff what kind of girls are you into?
Cliff:
bASSES!
Hey Cliff are you a boobs or an ass guy?
Cliff: *BASS*
@@mysteretsym STOLEN! BUT STILL EPICO
Cliff: big bASS girls.
This comment doesn't even make sense. Basically you're saying he was into girls with asses? The last time I checked all women have asses.
2:34 "where the hell are you, Lars?"
Lol he’s like, “the fuck, man?!?” Lol
too busy scratching his head and wondering what he's gonna eat for dinner
We love you Cliff 🤘
I was at this show in my dreams!
2:30 was the moment he became possessed. I almost cried 20 seconds in. It was like watching a baby being born. Greatest guitar solo. Ever!!!!!!
Neldawg Its a bass solo lol
i like how his fingers look like octopus when he play both D and G strings before drums enter
RIP Cliff Burton.... Your legend lives on...
This bass is so beautiful
DEDEDE en vara and super expensive to get one from the same model year as his
Impeccable timing a true MASTER. RIP baby. Philadelphia USA
Without a doubt the greatest bass soloist that ever lived, in upmost respect and admiration for the man he is loved and missed by many. As a lil kid I was blessed to have been introduced to him through my older brother Frank! You are forever missed and loved by many Cliff
Cliff Burton...the Randy Rhoads of bass players. RIP (Rock in Peace) 🤘😇
Nah the diambag of bass
@@joshuaalgerking I said RR since they both had short, yet legendary careers 🤷🏻♂️
@@usuck1883 true u got a point
@@usuck1883 m8 even though he’s not alive if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be playing bass
Randy and cliff are my favorites if I had an all time band those 2 are in
I love how at 2:33 he's like "Lars, what the fuck man!?"
Hah, good eye, i think he expected him to come back around 2:15
R.I.P Cliff. Still can’t believe you died so young
The goat. No one will ever come close to the greatest Cliff Burton .The man,The legend
1:29 that flash of the lights off the bass is like it was blessed by the metal Gods! ❤
Cliff Burton....maybe the only man to ever make the bass sexy. Imagine had he lived how much he would’ve grown and matured as a player.
Really? He definitely did. But what about Entwistle? Bruce? Geezer? Harris? JPJ? Jaco? Bass when utilized creatively is sexy AF. PERIOD
Imagine thinking 70’s funk bass wasn’t sexy
@@shauner8754 exactly. No offence to William, but to say an instrument itself was never sexy…the bass for that matter, is wildly ignorant.
Cliff Burton was not a god...
God was a Cliff Burton
I don't know why no one has commented on this yet, this is amazing
Hendrix, Dime, Cliff, and Lemmy...Moon on drums...Lane Staley, Dave Williams, and Chris Cornell can sing.
So he is a god?
Thank you. This sucks . Everyone being dick ryders!!! Lol go back the trailer park.
Ok you just went too far.
Today is a Cliff burton's day
38 years ago today, a man has died and a legend is born...
Back then I had just discovered Metallica few months ago (and also started trying to play bass), and me and my friends were waiting to go to see them in concert in autumn, then came the news of Cliff's death...
Imagine being the people in the first row, watching this video and remembering this event ❤
