Managed to get 7M payouts friday using your Krait II enhanced missile build (enhanced, but non-engineered launchers). So that was pretty cool. Will have to get a Python II ready with shards and premium ammo for the next titan. Thanks for the instructional video!
Thanks for this, Im well rusty so the demonstration of the flying lines is ideal, Ive got a 6C biweave, my runs attract a little more Thargy gunplay, but surprisingly only got gown to 51% hull after a full run. Forgot to employ ammo la premium, next time, but I hate the concept of blowing up my own ship.
Was a pleasure meeting you there on Thorsday. Never done much thargoid combat but based on this information I was able to build a pretty competent Krait MK II that allowed me to experience the action myself. For humanity!
The MK2 checks off 2 boxes for me. It's quite literally everything I wanted in critisism of the MK1. Weapon placement, design.. as if they asked me what I wanted for christmas. Secondly, it performs the attack role on a Titan exceptionally. Perhaps my favorite ship to do Titan runs in. I gotta say though; with the new kit they released for it with the Type 8; it gives me some 'Captain Falcon/ F-Zero' vibes. Probably because I'm gettin into SSB again.. but It's just uncanny

In honour of your (as per usual) great mentoring of the AX Community, she'll be christened ''Astyrrean Legacy''. For Thorsday, i'll make do with my trusty, Enhanced AX Missile Yeeter Imperial Cutter, the ''Kormorant''. It may be a drifty whale, but it's of the killer type if you use FA-OFF cargo scoop/landing gear boost turning. Hell, I may even try this 8/8 heat vent attack run tomorrow! 🤠
When the PMk2 came out I was building it right along side you guys, unknowingly we came up with the same build and you helped me figure out the final step of using a size 1 LRTV to finish it off. It's a great build and it also works well as an Orthrus snacker at spires when using Shards. Its going to be bitter sweet when we have to retire this build when the last Titan goes down.
I wouldn’t write off Titans entirely once #8 goes down. After all, this was merely their invasion force … surely there’s Titans guarding Thargoid-space.
Looking forward to another bombing of a titan. Havnt had time to collect / try to collect the materials for the guardian protection stuff yet as it seems very tedious but got all weapons unlocked at least. Let's go!
I am running dirty drive and bi-weave shield. The trick is to let the shield charge to 100 % after the bombing run. Works most of the time if you have at least 40% shield strength left after the run. Let's have some fun on Thorsday!
Why is the power plant in your build monstered and not thermal spread? If your cargo hatch, FSD and AMFU are off, a thermal spread plant clocks in at under 100% and should work lighter, faster and cooler.
That stems from this being an evolution of the 3.0 rather than a from-scratch build. You are correct - if you’re building this from scratch a LE5/TS will do, and is preferable, if this is the only focus for this ship you intend it to have. The /mo experimental was needed to power the Sirius missile racks the 3.0 came with, and is still needed if you want to swap to those if you go e.g., Banshee hunting. In the field both /mo and /TS will be under the detection threshold with shields charging and under thrust, so there isn’t any practical difference. Good call out tho!
I'm probably one of the few who's going to stick with the krait for bombing. I prefer it's tankiness and ability to self repair which I find helps a lot for solo runs when the titan has only a few hearts left and things get quite insane. Though I took the 4 Azi python for a spin earlier today and it absolutely destroys scouts, looking forward to use that as an escort :D
Purely because there's only going to be 2 left after this, I will build this Bomber. Purely for my own ego I wanna say that I 1v1'ed a Titan and won :D Outside of that, I still have my trustworthy Krait MK.2 and Mamba that have been my bombers since the very start of fighting the Titans, so Thor is gonna feel the full brunt of whatever I can bear. Also, the explanation of the way to stay high, genius! ... I mean it's probably obvious but still a good reminder to have on how to do it!
I don't have the mats for AAGF modifications yet, but I'm interested in building a Pmk2 for bombing at least. Hopefully I can do at least a little of this without the shards for a bit!
With all due respect Cmdr. Mechan…. If Cmdr. St. Julian is one of yours, do you mind terribly reeling him in? Ganking myself and other CMDRs whilst trying to attack a Titan is not the way to make friends. I’m giving the benefit of the doubt he isn’t acting on your orders.
Not one of ours. He’s part of VOID. And if you have evidence of him doing it in AXI Private Group, post it in the AXI discord and he’ll get the boot from that PG. On the other hand, if he’s doing it in Open, it is what it is … sadly there will always be gankers at major community events. Comes with the Open territory… if you don’t like it, fight them or switch to one of the major PGs!

That's a very clear "how to" video. I'll be trying out the "high and close to the centre" approach to the heat vents tomorrow!

You're definitely not among the few! Krait Mk2 remains by far the more practical bomber

Yes even with missiles the PMk2 is an outstanding bomber.
If everyone used the builds shown here, they would be able to silence the titans in no time. Titan must surely want to run away!
I’m not a good enough pilot to 100% it cuz I can only get 7 heat vents. Buts it’s still better then I was ever able to do with the Krait or Mamba
